Education has always been an important topic in the development of human society.Music education in this paper is music education in a narrow sense,that is,the music education in schools is organized,planned and purposeful according to certain social requirements.The Chinese culture is made up of the diverse cultures created by the people of all ethnic groups in the long history.The music in the minority areas especially has the unique artistic style of the ethnic groups.In the process of modernization and the promotion of compulsory education,music education in minority areas has more or less lost its local characteristics.Therefore,this paper is about the field investigation of the Kashi 11 th Middle School,through the observation,record and interview to explore the current situation of music education in the Kashi city 11 th Middle School.This paper will further summarize and analyze the universal problems in folk music education from the case of Kashi city 11 th Middle School.This paper hopes to summarize the problems existing in music education in minority areas.Meanwhile,I hope relevant departments can pay more attention to the organization and integration of ethnic music resources to form a systematic and comprehensive database.At last,this paper puts forward some constructive countermeasures to deal with the existing problems of music education in minority areas.If music education in minority areas wants to develop and improve,it needs to adapt measures to local conditions and innovate constantly.
