With the rapid development of science and technology,video games are developing rapidly,and educational games are gradually coming into the public’s view,which is expected to promote some changes in education and learning methods in the future.Because of its own characteristics,the history subject has a huge amount of information and various contents,which is not easy to stimulate students’ learning motivation.Educational games have a broad development prospect,and the number of educational games related to history in China is relatively small compared with other major subjects.In view of the characteristics of history,this paper develops educational games to assist history learning,which is beneficial to stimulate students’ learning motivation and help them set up correct values.This paper draws on the excellent RPG game design,creates a new game answer mode,integrates it into education and teaching,carries on the junior high school history RPG education game design and development.The specific research is as follows :(1)Refer to the relevant research background,understand the research status of educational games at home and abroad,and determine the purpose,significance,method and innovation of the research on this basis.(2)Introduces the related theories referred to in the development of educational games.(3)The six dimensions of the RETAIN model are introduced and analyzed in depth,and six educational game design principles are extracted.(4)Use the questionnaire to collect data,analyze the relevant data,verify the feasibility of the application of educational game design,and design the process,story,level,rules,interface,interaction and evaluation of the game based on the six principles of educational game design.(5)Develop and implement educational games,apply the developed educational games into practice,and analyze the experimental results to put forward suggestions on history teaching.Based on the Unity3 D game development platform,this paper designs and develops a junior high school history RPG educational game,and applies it to teaching practice.The experimental results show that this educational game can stimulate students’ learning enthusiasm and improve their interest in learning history. |
