W ith the release of the Outline of National Tourism and Leisure(2013-2020),a surge of research on "study travel" has been set off in China.Under the guidance of national policies,the promotion of study travel activities in primary and secondary schools in China is gradually on the right track.At the same time,the geography subject in the new round of curriculum reform requires the cultivation of middle school students' core quality of geography,among which how to realize the cultivation of "practical ability of geography" has aroused intense discussion in the field of geography education.As an effective teaching form to cultivate students' core literacy in geography,"geography research travel" is an effective way to cultivate students' practical ability in geography.Reasonable travel route design of geography research can make the study effect get twice the result with half the effort,so it is urgent to design and study the geography research route.As a famous scenic spot in Hunan,Yuelu Mountain is favored by scholars for its rich natural geographic resources and rich historical and cultural deposits.Therefore,it is worth exploring to take Yuelu Mountain as the background of geography research,and its combination with geography research courses is also expected.However,there is a lack of systematic geography research route in Yuelu mountain area at present.In view of the trend and demand of current research travel,the design and practice of the geography research route in Yuelu mountain area will provide a new direction for the development of the geography research travel activities.This paper based on the studies reform,curriculum reform and education reform background,based on the study of theoretical significance and practical significance,to train middle school students' geographical practice to guide the core,through literature analysis,on-the-spot investigation method and case analysis and other research methods,through the "research study trip" "geographic practice force"definition and its research status at home and abroad related to comb summary,It is put forward that the design of travel routes for geographical research should follow the principles of safety,education,discipline,feasibility and typicality.On the basis of penetrating the concept and following the principles,it is proposed that the design mode of the geography research travel route should refer to the textbook and choose the theme.Analyze the study situation and establish the goal;Research background and summary resources;Field investigation and initial route design;Case practice,refining the route and other system procedures.According to studies route design pattern,combining capital region can be developed by geological landform,hydrology and climate,vegetation soil ","history and culture","modern education" and"transportation" geography research learning resource,design a "secret"interpretation of the rock,"exploration structure","revealed geomorphic secret","open modern veil","road of literature and history and name it","Traceable to the source of the Xiangjiang River","South tour at the foot of Yuelu Mountain","West along the sightseeing corridor" and other nine research routes.Around the set in the early studies route to "password"interpretation of the rock in the research and feedback the process of learning instance,tentatively put forward based on the studies of geographical practice force effect quantitative evaluation,reflection and summary of studies route design should be reasonable planning,travel is moderate,combined with learning,hierarchical design,seek cooperation,complement each other,in the end this paper research conclusion,In other words,the geography research route should be designed in accordance with the system program under the premise of following fixed principles.Meanwhile,the feedback evaluation of the geography research route design should be carried out according to the level level of the divided geography practice ability,so as to measure the actual cultivation effect of the "geography practice ability" in the middle school students' participation in the geography research activities.To sum up,this paper tries to promote the further development of geographical research activities in Yuelu mountain area through the design and practical research of geographical research routes around Yuelu mountain area,and at the same time realize the effective cultivation of geographical practical ability of middle school students by means of study travel.
