Computational thinking is not only one of the three main scientific thinking generally recognized in the world(that is,the three thinking of theory, practice and calculation),but also has important significance for the progress of human society. In the new curriculum standard, computational thinking is one of the core qualities in the discipline of information technology.Experts and scholars also believe that cultivating students' computational thinking abilities helps them solve problems in daily life. However, the traditional teaching mode of "students listen and teachers speak" in the actual elementary school information technology courses has led to a lack of students' interest in learning, which has affected the development of students' computational thinking ability. This research combines the current situation of elementary school information technology curriculum teaching to construct a PBL teaching model for the cultivation of computational thinking in elementary school information technology courses, and studies the influence of this model on students' computational thinking ability, with the purpose of cultivating students' computational thinking ability. In this research, the author firstly uses the literature research method to elaborate on the current research status of computational thinking at home and abroad, and further discusses the domestic research status of PBL teaching mode.Secondly,a comprehensive use of constructivist learning theory, children's cognitive development stage theory and cooperative learning theory. After a semester, the teaching practice of a total of 12 classes in the fifth and sixth grades of elementary school information technology courses, with different teaching design models based on PBL As a foundation,Scratch3.0 is used as a tool to construct a PBL teaching model suitable for the cultivation of computational thinking in elementary school information technology courses.Based on this teaching model, the teaching design is carried out according to the teaching design and the teaching practice is used in the practice process. The programming work interview method summarizes the teaching effect. Finally, through the work analysis method of the Dr.Scratch web application, the computational thinking ability of individual students is tested, and two classes in the sixth grade are selected as the experimental group and the control group.According to the test method, the experimental method is used to evaluate the computational thinking ability of group students Perform testing. The research results show that compared with the traditional teaching model, the PBL teaching model for computational thinking training in elementary school information technology courses has a significant improvement in improving students' interest in learning and cultivating students' computational thinking ability.
