The "General High School Ideological and Political Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition2020 Revision)" puts forward higher requirements for the current high school ideological and political teaching,and promotes the overall development of students as the fundamental task.For this reason,the textbooks and teaching methods of high school ideological and political courses should be adjusted,and more efficient teaching methods should be applied to achieve the teaching goals of ideological and political subjects under the background of the new curriculum reform.The emergence of the "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics",an ideological and political textbook for senior high schools,is in line with the current high school ideological and political teaching reform requirements.Although the use of this textbook in China is still in the pilot and exploratory stage in individual regions,the teaching effect of the overall compilation of ideological and political textbooks has initially appeared.In recent years,the application of case teaching method in the teaching of ideological and political courses in high schools has also become a hot area of educational research and exploration.The case teaching method combined with various methods such as situational teaching,group discussion,summary reflection,etc.,is conducive to inspiring students’ creative thinking and promoting students’ all-round development.And what kind of teaching effect will the case teaching method use in the high school ideological and political "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" will be a hot issue that many frontline teachers pay attention to.This article takes the application of case teaching method in high school ideological and political "Socialism with Chinese characteristics" as the topic,using literature research method,investigation research method,case analysis method and other research methods to analyze the "General High School Ideological and Political Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition 2020Revision)" and Compile the textbook "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" and explore the application of case teaching method in "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics",as follows:First,combining the background of the current high school ideological and political teaching reform,through combing the relevant literature and analyzing the research status of the case teaching method at home and abroad,pointing out that the case teaching method is applied to the high school ideological and political teaching of many research results,but Most of his research focuses on improving the effect of the curriculum,ignoring the insufficiency of teaching design in the application of the case teaching method,which leads to the research problem of this article.Second,combining the core concepts and theoretical basis of the case teaching method,the analysis points out that it is necessary for the case teaching method to be applied to the teaching of "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics".It not only helps to implement the new requirements of high school ideological and political curriculum standards,highlights the new characteristics of the textbook "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics",but also helps to achieve the goal of cultivating the core literacy of high school students’ ideological and political disciplines.At the same time,it is feasible to apply the case teaching method to the teaching of "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics".The modernization of teaching equipment provides objective conditions,the psychological characteristics of high school students provide subjective conditions,and the teaching materials themselves provide rich materials.Third,combine actual teaching cases to analyze the principles and basic procedures of the case teaching method used in the teaching of "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics".Clarified the principles of effectiveness,education,innovation,etc.,as well as basic processes such as selecting cases,setting scenarios,timely feedback,and summarizing and sublimating.Fourth,use the questionnaire survey method and interview method to investigate the effect of the case teaching method in the teaching of "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics".The survey shows that although the implementation of case teaching method has been recognized by teachers and students,the application of case teaching method to the classroom teaching of "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" still has insufficient integration of teaching cases,teaching content to be sublimated,and poor comprehensive quality of case teaching for teachers.There are some problems,such as difficulty in creating new ideas and imperfect teaching evaluation system.Fifth,in order to solve these problems in the application of the case teaching method to the teaching of "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics",a series of targeted improvement and optimization strategies are proposed.By improving teachers’ professional quality of case teaching method,optimizing teaching cases,perfecting the implementation process of case teaching,building a scientific teaching evaluation system and other measures,effectively optimizing the case teaching class of "Socialism with Chinese Characteristics",and cultivating high school students’ core literacy of ideological and political subjects.
