In today's era of rapid development of information technology,computing thinking has become one of everyone's necessary abilities.Computational Thinking initially received attention in the field of higher education.Nowadays,the field of basic education has also begun to pay extensive attention to the cultivation of computing thinking ability.As the pillars of the motherland in the future,primary school students need to have the ability of computing thinking to face various challenges brought by the development of information technology in the future.In order to cultivate students' computing thinking,countries all over the world have successively incorporated the cultivation of computing thinking into the information technology curriculum reform plan,and China has also incorporated computing thinking into the core literacy of the information technology curriculum standards of primary and secondary schools.In recent years,scratch interesting programming software is gradually entering the vision of primary and secondary school teachers.This visual programming software is designed and developed for children.The operation interface of this software is simple and easy to learn.The operation results can be presented in real time.It also integrates video,music,animation,algorithms,games and other elements,which can well stimulate students' learning interest and effectively improve students' computing thinking ability.Through teaching practice,it is found that students also like this visual and interesting programming software.This study attempts to cultivate pupils' Computational Thinking Ability through scratch teaching.It is mainly carried out from seven aspects: the first is the introduction,which introduces the research background,and defines the research objectives,contents,specific ideas,methods and research significance of this paper.Second,it analyzes the current situation of the cultivation of students' computing thinking at home and abroad,and the deficiency and necessity of the cultivation of primary school students' computing thinking.The third is the theoretical basis of cultivating Computational Thinking in scratch teaching.It summarizes the relevant literature on Computational Thinking at home and abroad,analyzes the theory of computational thinking,studies the measures of cultivating Computational Thinking and the test methods of computational thinking,and also analyzes the highlights and teaching methods of scratch visual programming software.Fourth,the teaching plan for cultivating Computational Thinking in scratch teaching,including the determination of object,environment,content and method.Make a plan according to the training objectives,object characteristics and environment.Fifth,the teaching practice of cultivating Computational Thinking in scratch teaching,carrying out teaching practice,testing and evaluating teaching effect.The sixth is the analysis of teaching practice results and research conclusions.The computational thinking scale is used to test and evaluate students' Computational Thinking Ability before and after teaching,analyze and summarize SPSS statistical data.Seventh,research summary,deficiencies and prospects,analyze and summarize the research process,draw conclusions,and put forward deficiencies and future research directions.The object of this study is two classes of grade four students in the first primary school of Dongtai City,Jiangsu Province.Before the implementation of scratch teaching,the computational thinking scale was used to test the computational thinking ability of the two classes.The whole teaching practice is divided into three rounds,and the teaching tasks,teaching objectives and teaching contents of each round are different.After three rounds of action research,we use the computational thinking scale to evaluate the students' Computational Thinking of the two classes again,count the scores of the computational thinking scale and analyze it with spss20 software.From the results of the analysis,we can draw the conclusion that the computational thinking ability of primary school students can be cultivated through scratch teaching.
