In order to carry out the fundamental task of moral education and make students form the necessary character,key ability and correct values to adapt to lifelong development and social development,China proposes to develop students' core literacy.Therefore,the teaching goal turns to the cultivation of students' core quality.But the actual teaching still stays in the surface of knowledge teaching,ignoring the deep excavation of knowledge connotation,which requires classroom teaching to turn to deep teaching.Deep teaching emphasizes that teaching should go beyond the surface symbol of knowledge and enter into the inner logical form and meaning of knowledge,guide students to understand the thought and meaning of the subject and promote students' deep learning.Its goal is to develop students' core quality of the subject.Therefore,the implementation of in-depth teaching is an important way to cultivate students' geographical key competence.Through literature research,this paper analyzes the connotation and characteristics of deep teaching,defines related concepts and combs the theoretical basis.Based on the questionnaire survey of two senior high schools in Chaoyang City,Liaoning Province,and the analysis of a senior high school geography teacher's lesson in Nanjing City,this paper understands the current situation of senior high school geography depth teaching,and finds that the main problems existing in the current senior high school geography depth teaching are as follows: in the classroom teaching,the cognitive goal is mainly low-level thinking,while the high-level thinking is less;The performance level of geographical core literacy is mainly Level 2,but level 4 is very few;The performance level of geographical core literacy is mainly Level 2,but level 4 is very few.The main reasons for the problems are: Teachers' inadequate understanding of the connotation and requirements of geographical core literacy;Teaching design does not pay enough attention to the cultivation of geographical core literacy;The promotion of classroom evaluation to the cultivation of geographical core literacy is not strong.Based on the understanding of the connotation and characteristics of deep teaching concept,combined with the analysis of the problems and reasons reflected in the current survey,this paper puts forward the strategies of high school geography deep teaching from the perspective of the cultivation of geography core literacy,mainly including: accurately understanding the connotation and requirements of geography core literacy;To improve the goal of geography core literacy training in teaching design;Make full use of performance evaluation to promote the deep teaching of geography core literacy.On this basis,the content of "the distribution of ocean surface currents in the world" is selected for in-depth teaching design and evaluation,hoping to provide reference for the teaching practice of front-line geography teachers.The implementation of in-depth teaching of geography is an important way to cultivate students' geographical core literacy.Therefore,more Geography educators need to pay attention to the concept of in-depth teaching and further study it.In addition,teaching evaluation is very important to improve the effect of classroom teaching,so how to implement the classroom evaluation of in-depth teaching in order to truly realize its educational value needs to be discussed and explored.
