| Since the reform and opening up,China’s teacher qualification examination system has been continuously improved from scratch,starting from the teacher qualification certificate system in the 1980 s,to the unification of the whole province,and then to the unification of the whole country.Nowadays,taking part in the national unified teacher qualification examination has become a necessary experience for the vast majority of people to teach,and has also become a choice for many people,ushering in an increasingly hot heat.This study focuses on whether teachers’ professional awareness will be improved when teacher qualification examination examines teachers’ knowledge and skills.After a systematic review of the literature,starting from the theory of specialization,this paper constructs a theoretical framework of teachers’ professional consciousness,which is composed of teachers’ self-consciousness,children’s consciousness and reflective consciousness.Based on this framework,this study conducted in-depth interviews with 9 teachers who had experienced the teacher qualification examination in different periods,analyzed the educational background,test preparation experience and test content of teachers in different periods,and explored the influence of teacher qualification examination reform on Teachers’ self-consciousness,children’s consciousness and reflection consciousness.At the same time,this study carries on the text analysis to the three teacher qualification examination questions,selects 32 sets of questions,according to the classification standard,divides them into three categories involving teacher’s self-consciousness,children’s consciousness and reflection consciousness,respectively counts each type of question type and score,and analyzes the change trend.The interview study found that the teacher qualification examination system has an impact on Teachers’ professional consciousness.First,teachers’ self-consciousness tends to be clear.Teachers’ ability recognition is more objective,from simple ability recognition to awareness of their own lack of ability.The understanding of teachers’ role is gradually diversified,from simple knowledge transmitter to practitioner,guide and researcher.Teachers’ professional knowledge is more professional,from everyone can be a teacher to excellent talents can be a teacher,from knowledge can be a teacher to only after education and training can be a teacher.Second,teachers’ awareness of children is gradually enriched.The communication between teachers and students is gradually frequent and deep,from simple classroom questioning and communication to various extracurricular life management and teacher-student participation.The relationship between teachers and students is more diversified,from a single professor to a multi-dimensional relationship of teaching and learning and multi roles.Thirdly,teachers’ reflective consciousness is becoming more and more internalized.Teachers reflect from simple teaching environment to teaching,and then to their own professional ability.The text analysis shows that the three kinds of professional consciousness involved in the examination items present diversified development,from simple fill in the blank memory to multiple understanding analysis.The scores of the three kinds of consciousness also changed obviously,and the proportion of the scores increased greatly.The specific content of the investigation is also more obvious,no longer hidden investigation of teachers’ consciousness,but direct attention to teachers’ behavior.In view of this,this study puts forward suggestions from the teacher qualification examination system and teacher development.On the one hand,improve the teacher qualification examination system.Update the content of teacher qualification examination,change the management mode of teacher qualification examination certificate,and improve the inspection mode of teacher qualification.On the other hand,teachers’ professional development should be promoted.In order to improve teachers’ self-consciousness,children’s consciousness and reflection consciousness,we should distinguish teachers’ educational background,teaching environment and development stage. |
