Novel teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching in junior middle school.The study of novels helps to improve students' reading ability,literary literacy and writing level.In the current actual teaching environment of rural schools,limited by class hours,learning conditions and examination conditions,most teachers will not choose to spend too much time and energy in the novel unit.The classroom is mainly dominated by teachers,single teaching,focusing on explaining the knowledge of novel style.With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,the concept of "unit overall teaching" has been paid more and more attention by teachers.Based on the current situation of novel teaching in rural junior middle schools,this paper advocates that the overall teaching practice of novel unit should be carried out in rural schools.It can not only meet the requirements of "broadening the field of students' Chinese learning and application,and initially cultivating the Chinese literacy required by modern society" put forward in the Chinese curriculum standard for compulsory education for junior middle school Chinese teaching,but also pay attention to the integrity of Chinese knowledge,promote the all-round development of students' listening,speaking,reading and writing ability,and improve students' comprehensive quality.Teachers should appropriately increase the arrangement of teaching activities in the novel unit,pay attention to the integrity of knowledge when teaching the novel text,increase students' extracurricular reading,follow the principle of combining reading and writing,exercise language expression ability through rich and colorful teaching practice activities,broaden the breadth and depth of students' Chinese Learning,and enhance the interest of Chinese learning.This paper mainly uses the questionnaire survey method to investigate the novel teaching methods in rural schools,and investigate how the novel teaching is set and carried out.Absorb the practical experience of excellent teachers who have carried out the overall teaching of novel unit,and then provide ideas and ideas for the views of this paper.The purpose of this paper is to re integrate the content of the novel unit in the textbook,excavate the commonness and individuality of each text,and explore the overall teaching strategy of the novel unit to adapt to the learning situation in combination with the actual situation of rural teaching.
