The aging of the population is an inevitable product of a certain stage of social development.Since my country entered an aging society in 1999,the degree of aging has continued to deepen,and the importance of the issue of old age in many social issues has become increasingly prominent.The elderly are affected by factors such as the decline of physiological functions and the weakening of social roles.They are prone to many problems such as self-cognition obstacles,social adjustment obstacles,etc.,which seriously affect the happiness of life and the sense of life value of the elderly.The main reason is their understanding of life.Insufficiency and lack of life education.This article takes "active aging" as a research perspective,and on the basis of a comprehensive understanding of the background and theoretical advantages of the concept of "active aging",the core connotation of its "active" nature and the three pillars of "health,participation,and security" Perform in-depth interpretation;meanwhile,explain that “life” includes three different dimensions of natural life,social life,and spiritual life;and then clarify the deep inner relationship between “active aging” and“life education for the elderly”,that is,through Explore scientific health education,participate in education,and guarantee education to help the elderly extend the length of natural life,broaden the width of social life,and enhance the height of spiritual life.In addition,it puts forward the view of life that should be maintained in the practice of life education for the elderly in my country from the perspective of active aging,and analyzes the content that should be included in life education for the elderly on the basis of probing the life plight of the elderly in my country.Finally,based on the review and reflection on the status quo and problems of life education for the elderly in our country,the development path of improving life education for the elderly is proposed from different subject levels to help the elderly get rid of their life difficulties,realize the value of life,and ultimately promote the harmonious development of society.This research contains five chapters,the specific contents are as follows:Chapter One: Introduction.Explain the research background of this article,clarify the purpose and significance of the research,review relevant research results at home and abroad,and formulate research ideas and methods.Chapter Two: an overview of life education for the elderly in my country from the perspective of active aging.Introduce the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of this research,and clarify the outlook on life for the elderly from the perspective of active aging.The related concepts of the research are: active aging,life education for the elderly,and life education for the elderly from the perspective of active aging.The theories involved in the research include: life philosophy related theories,psychology related theories and adult learning related theories.In view of the current society’s insufficient awareness of the life of the elderly,the study pointed out that the elderly under the perspective of active aging are equal subjects of life development,with fair rights to life development and diversified life development needs.Chapter Three: The life dilemma of the elderly in my country from the perspective of active aging.In order to ascertain the life status of the elderly,understand their real life situation and their real needs for life education,the author conducted semistructured interviews with the elderly in some communities in Nanjing.The survey found that the elderly generally face life dilemmas such as incomplete awareness of health and obscured natural life;low enthusiasm for participation and repression of social life;insufficient understanding of protection and neglect of spiritual life.Chapter Four: The content of life education for the elderly from the perspective of active aging.In view of the current dilemmas faced by the elderly in our country,try to explore the content of the elderly life education under the guidance of the concept of active aging.This study proposes that the content of life education for the elderly should include: "health" education based on the maintenance of natural life extension,"participation" education with the realization of social life expansion as the core,and "guarantee" education with the goal of pursuing spiritual life improvement.In order to promote the all-round development of elderly life,and promote the realization of the meaning and value of elderly life.Chapter Five: The development path of life education for the elderly from the perspective of active aging.According to the life dilemma of the elderly and the content of the life education for the elderly,this article proposes feasible ways to improve the life education for the elderly from the four levels of government,society,school and family.This will enable the elderly’s lives to be fully developed in the three aspects of "health,participation,and security",and enhance the meaning and value of the lives of the elderly.
