STEAM is a combination of the initials of Science,Technology,Engineering,Art and Mathematics.The STEAM model emphasizes breaking the boundaries between disciplines,allowing students to comprehensively apply the knowledge of various disciplines in the process of participating in practice,and training students' ability to solve practical problems.First of all,STEAM model and traditional middle school art carpentry production are analyzed.To understand the meaning,current situation and existing problems of traditional middle school woodworking course,and to explore the feasibility and teaching methods of entering into the classroom.This paper analyzes the feasibility of implementing STEAM mode in middle school fine arts woodworking course,and compares it with traditional fine arts woodworking course,explores the inspiration of teaching mode of middle school fine arts woodworking course under STEAM mode and STEAM project-based teaching method to middle school fine arts woodworking course.Secondly,the STEAM mode of middle school art carpentry production teaching design.Starting from the five fields,the three-dimensional goal of the curriculum is studied.Analyze specific stage activities from the perspective of teachers and students.Explain the teaching ideas of middle school art carpentry production course under STEAM mode;Design the course evaluation;In the form of mind mapping,explore the teaching content and teaching objectives,and design the teaching content(let students restore a wooden chair model using Setch Up software at the same scale).Teachers and students participate in the setting of evaluation criteria,so as to eliminate the psychological resistance of students in mutual evaluation.Then,the STEAM mode of middle school art woodworking teaching practice is explored.Three phase after the teacher set respectively in the former "recruit qualified" project learning activities,is driven with problems,inspire the student to the course content in STEAM mode five major areas of planning,after each stage of the project learning activities,teachers need to all stages of evaluation,thus rendered in the form of specific points,This will play a positive role in promoting students' performance in the next stage.After the completion of project-based learning activities,teachers reflect on teaching practice activities from the five fields of STEAM mode.Finally,the teaching effect of middle school art woodworking course in STEAM mode is analyzed from three aspects: student participation,work completion and work quality,and the after-class feedback survey is completed,and the feedback results are presented and carried out in the form of bar chart.The STEAM model is integrated with the middle school art woodworking course,breaking through the traditional bondage of "teaching" and "learning",and students gradually establish the idea of interdisciplinary awareness and integration of multidisciplinary knowledge.In the process of dealing with problems,it strengthens the connection of knowledge of various disciplines,so as to achieve the effect of creative problem solving.At the same time,cultivate the consciousness of team cooperation between students and the idea of the excellent culture heritage,in the project learning activities into the visual image perception,art form of expression and aesthetic ability and so on related content,help students to improve the aesthetic ability in the process of learning to live and grow,mould perfect personality.
