Dancesport originated in Europe and Latin America and is one of the sports. In the 1930 s,sports dance was introduced into China, and was deeply loved by the masses with its various styles and characteristics. So far,the development prospect of sports dance in China is on the rise, which has been recognized and popularized by people.According to the investigation, children have become the main force in learning sports dance, but some problems are also reflected. The professional level of domestic teachers is quite different, and coaches pay too much attention to technical details training.Neglecting the training of body function is the reason for the big difference between the performance of Chinese and foreign athletes, and the core stability is an important part of body function, which occupies an important proportion in sports dance and plays a decisive role in the quality of sports dance movement. At present, there are few studies on the combination of core stability training with sports dance in China, especially among the people aged 10-12 who learn sports dance. The purpose of this paper is to explore the positive impact on the core stability of 10-12-year-old students learning sports dance, and to provide a reference basis for the application of Swiss ball training in the core stability training scheme of children and adolescents. This paper adopts the methods of experiment, literature, expert interview, mathematical statistics, logical analysis and video analysis. The subjects were 60 girls from the sports dance class in the Jiaoyun campus and the Development Zone campus of the canal art training school in Liaocheng City,Shandong Province. They were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The experimental group was trained with Swiss ball, and the control group was trained with traditional training methods. Before and after the experiment, the basic physical condition, core stability, balance ability and special skills of the two groups of students were tested. The test indexes were as follows: the basic physical condition indexes were height, weight, age and training years; The core stability indexes were side bridge, side throw medical ball and one minute sit ups;The indexes of balance ability were standing with eyes closed on one foot and standing with one foot raised high; The special skill actions are horizontal rotation,fixed-point rotation, time step, forward step and screw connection rotation.By analyzing the test data of the two groups before the experiment,it is found that there is no significant difference in the test results of each item between the two groups(P > 0.05),which meets the preconditions of the experiment.During the experiment, the two groups were consistent except for different training methods. After the experiment, the two groups of experimenters were tested again, and the following results were obtained:1.There was no significant difference in height and weight between the two groups(P>0.05).2.The core stability test results of the two groups were compared. There were significant differences in side medical ball throwing and one-minute sit-up(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in side bridge(P>0.05).3..The balance ability test results of the two groups were compared, and there was a significant difference between standing on one foot with eyes closed and standing on one foot with legs raised(P<0.05);4.Comparing the test results of the two groups of special skills, there were significant differences in flat rotation, fixed point rotation, forward walking and spiral rotation(P < 0.05),while there was no significant difference in time step(P>0.05).The following conclusions are drawn:1.Both Swissball training and traditional training can improve the core stability, balance ability and special sports dance ability of children aged 10-12 years;2.Both Swiss ball training and traditional training can significantly promote the performance of side bridge(core stability);3.Compared to the traditional training, the Swiss ball training improved significantly in the aspects of side-throwing the medical ball,one-minute sit-ups(core stability),standing on one foot with eyes closed, standing with one leg raised(balance ability),and flat turn, point turn, forward walk and spiral turn(specific skill).4.The Swiss ball has no obvious effect on the time step, indicating that the Swiss ball training does not improve the quality of all the technical movements in dancesport, and further research is needed.
