The mind map uses text,lines,pictures and other elements to present the brain's thinking process hierarchically.It is widely used in teaching and has a certain effect on the improvement of teaching quality and efficiency.The assignments present the expression of human thinking in the form of written language.However,the thinking of elementary school students is still in the rapid development stage,so their writings usually have some problems including deviation from the theme,confusion of ideas,and lack of logic.Therefore,the mind map is applied to the teaching of Chinese writing in primary school,hoping to find the crux of the primary school students' thinking through the externalization of their thinking,in order to improve the students' learning ability and thinking ability.The thesis consists of four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,including the reason for the topic selection,research purpose and significance,literature review and research methods.The second chapter discusses the current situation of the use of mind maps and its potential issues in the teaching of Chinese writing in elementary school,including how teachers use mind maps in teaching,how students use mind maps in learning,and summarize the problems and make an analysis on its causes in the process of the application of mind maps in Chinese writing of primary school.The third chapter is the action research of mind mapping in the teaching of primary school Chinese writing,including research design,research implementation and result analysis.The fourth chapter is the conclusion and reflection of the thesis,including the practical results of mind mapping applied to the teaching of primary school Chinese writing,optimized strategies,and the analysis and prospects of the research deficiencies.Through the analysis of the case of front-line teachers using mind map for teaching design,it is found that it not only helps teachers fully grasp the teaching content and clearly know teaching links,but also helps teachers develop their own thinking.At the same time,the classroom observation of the use of mind maps by front-line teachers in the teaching of writing,to understand how the mind maps are used in classroom teaching in the first-line teaching,and in what ways or links they are presented so as to find its problems when it is applied in the process of Chinese writing teaching in primary school.Then,based on the analysis of the causes of these problems,a targeted and planned action research plan is formulated to further explore how the application of mind maps in the teaching of elementary school Chinese writing will affect the pupils' writing ability and thinking ability.The study found that the application of mind maps to the teaching of Chinese writing in primary school is conducive to the improvement of students' thinking ability,which is manifested in the development of fluency,flexibility and creativity of students' thinking;it is conducive to the improvement of students' writing ability,like improving their interest in writing,clarifying the logic of the writing,enriching the language of the writing and promoting the development of their imagination.Meanwhile,it is conducive to expanding teachers' thinking in the process of teaching.
