Exposition is a literary style that its main expression is to introduce or explain subjective items or matters,which is widely used in our daily lives.For a long time,the teaching of exposition is very important,however,it is not easy to teach it well,and most of the junior middle school students feel that exposition is fair and also the learning process turns out to be quite boring.On the other hand,with the rapid development of modern science and technology,the rational thinking and Scientific method of thinking is junior's essential quality,the present circumstances and effects of the teaching of reading are not so ideal.Mind mapping proposed by Tony Buzan is a kind of effective thinking method of using brain,which is a network diagram formed of many kinds of structure,thus as theme,node,image and color and so on.Mind mapping imitates cranial nerve network structure,and shows cognitive structure.In recent years,foreign scholars carry out a lot of mind map teaching practice research,and obtain effective results in promoting students' knowledge construction and cognitive development.In contrast,applied research and practical research of mind mapping in the field of education in domestic is rarely,and there also lacks comprehensive and thorough system research on mind mapping in specific subject teaching.Thus,we carry out an empirical research of middle school Chinese instruction based on mind mapping,in which we survey and position the impact of instruction on mind mapping to our understanding of teaching function,teaching objective,teaching form and teaching activities,complete a system research from teaching concept to teaching behavior.The present paper is based on the practice of exposition,and combined with the research achievements of science education,thinking science,Mind Map and students' features,teachers' role,the subject feature to study junior exposition activity teaching of today.The paper can be divided into five chapters,covers three main questions: Chinese instruction strategy design on mind mapping,empirical study of Chinese instruction and instruction value pursuit.In the angles of practice,the research is based upon an empirical study with 192 students(48 in each class)from four parallel classes in Grade junior middle school of the Wanzhou district of Chongqing city as my research subjects.In this thesis paper,document analysis,case studies,behavior studies are used to analyze the essence of activity teaching.And it aims at systematic and deep exploration to the following questions:the basic idea of junior exposition teaching,the basic process,the strategy.Finally,the students were surveyed with the same questions and we can draw a conclusion by counting the results of the survey: Mind mapping is a method popular with both teachers and students,which always plays an important role in arising students' enthusiasm and initiative,cultivating students' hands-on ability and practical ability,and building harmonious teaching atmosphere.
