With the advancement of the new curriculum reform in chemistry,history of chemistry education has become increasingly prominent,and more and more scholars are conducting in-depth studies on the history of chemistry.The history of chemistry has a unique educational function,helping students to grasp the knowledge and essence of science,learn the scientific method and ideas,and develop their scientific concepts,attitudes and scientific literacy.How can the history of chemistry be effectively integrated into the teaching of high school chemistry? What teaching strategies can we suggest? This study explores and analyses the above questions,with the main contents including.Part one: by combing through the relevant literature,it outlines the research background of the teaching of the history of chemistry,the current status of research at home and abroad,so as to determine the research direction of the topic,and explains the purpose,significance and research methods of the study.Part two: defines the history of chemistry and other related concepts,and explains the theoretical basis of the research on this topic,which is the theoretical basis for proposing strategies for teaching the history of chemistry.Part three: a comparative analysis of the history of chemistry in the old and new versions of the compulsory textbooks,a summary of the types of history of chemistry content in the new version of the textbooks,combined with the results of a survey of teachers and students,clarifies the important value of the history of chemistry,and is the empirical basis for this study.Part four: based on the results of the survey and research,four strategies for teaching the history of chemistry are proposed in relation to the new standards and the actual situation in the high school chemistry classroom.Part five: the periodic table of elements is used as an example for practical teaching,interviews are conducted with teachers and students to understand the teaching effect,and reflections are made on the teaching of this lesson.Part six: the findings of this paper are summarised,the innovations of this study are clarified and some suggestions are also made.By combining theory and practice,this paper explores the teaching strategies of the history of chemistry in high school chemistry,hoping to draw the attention and concern of front-line teachers and provide some references for their teaching,thus promoting the development of chemistry education.
