Nowadays,science history education has an important position in the world science education,and it has become a hot issue in the research of science education development today.The history of science is the only bridge between scientists and humanism,studying the history of science helps students understand the overall image of natural science and gain a comprehensive understanding of science,science and humanities.The 2017 edition of the General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards proposes that the main objective of high school education is to improve the overall development of students while promoting the individual development of each student,improve the comprehensive quality of students,and cultivate the core qualities of the chemistry discipline.In the choice of chemistry curriculum content,it is necessary to show students basic and contemporary content,so that not only is it easy for students to understand knowledge,but also to understand the current trends and trends in scientific development,and lay the foundation for future learning and development.Under the concept of cultivating students' core literacy,using the history of chemistry for education is an important way to improve students' scientific literacy.In this study,the author used a variety of research methods such as literature research,questionnaire surveys,and interviews for statistical analysis.The content of the research started with the statistics and analysis of the chemical history in the required chemistry textbook of senior high school,and maked statistics from the five aspects of the content,form,details,column and chapter coverage of the chemical history respectively,so as to provided certain reference materials for teachers in selecting the teaching of chemical history;Secondly,20 teachers and 843 students in the practice school were investigated on the current situation of the penetration of chemical history,from the basic situation of students and teachers,the understanding of the function of chemical history,the way of learning and the teaching situation,and 5 teachers were interviewed in depth to understand the current situation and problems of chemical history education in teaching;finally,based on the surveyed current status and problems,we tried to use HPS and IHV teaching models to teach,designed and practiced three examples of the chemical lessons of Lavoisier and the “flame theory”,elements enriched in seawater-chlorine,and the chemical properties of metals.Before and after the practice,VANSK scale was used to test students' understanding of the concept of scientific essence,and students with different learning levels were interviewed.The data were analyzed by SPSS 22.0.According to the author's research,most of the chemistry history content in the compulsory chemistry textbooks was presented in the form of textual narratives,which mainly described the scientific research results and research value.The chapter coverage rate of the content of chemical history can reach 79.17%,which showed that the People's Education Press attaches great importance to the history of chemistry.A questionnaire survey on the teaching history of chemistry history to teachers and students showed that most students are very interested in the content of chemistry history,hoping to infiltrate the history of chemistry in the classroom;at the same time,teachers also recognized the educational value of chemistry history,but due to the tension of the class,it is not obvious to improve grades in a short period of time,and most teachers do not know how to effectively carry out chemistry history education,resulting in less penetration in the classroom.The test and analysis of teaching using HPS and IHV mode found that this teaching mode has a certain promoting effect on improving students' scientific essence,and had a preliminary impact on the improvement of students' academic achievements,and had achieved good response in teaching.Therefore,infiltrating the history of chemistry in teaching not only helps students construct knowledge independently,but also helps students understand the process of scientific research and the general method of scientific research.It is an effective way to improve students' scientific literacy.
