Teachers’ professional development is the core issue in the development of modern education at home and abroad.Teachers are the leaders of educational activities.Teachers’ professional development is the basic guarantee for the development of students and the progress of educational reform.How to effectively promote teachers’ professional development? How to train high quality teachers? These problems have become the topic of common concern in the field of education.In the past,the research on Teachers’ professional development has always emphasized the external forces,but ignored the key events of the individual driving force of self reflection and self exploration.As tacit knowledge,the key events contain a lot of tacit education knowledge system content in the process of teachers’ growth.This paper studies the professional development of junior high school teachers and its key events,trying to analyze the differences of teachers’ key events in demography,so as to provide reference for teachers’ teaching work and educational research,and help the majority of junior high school teachers better self-development.At the same time,it supplements the current theoretical perspective on the research of key events and enriches the research results on the role of "key events" in Teachers’ professional development in the field of teaching research.This paper takes the junior middle school teachers in X county of F City as the research object,through the methods of literature,questionnaire survey and interview.The questionnaire is divided into three parts: basic situation,professional development,and matrix scale of 26 key events.Using IBM SPSS statistics The software analyzes the data of questionnaire,and concludes that the top six "key events" of x county junior high school teachers are research teaching,frustration or educational accident in education,open class competition,communication with teachers of teaching and research or students,public school study and training,and exchange with teachers in the same office,and then use demographics analysis to analyze the top six types of events The key events of the sixth part are different from the basic situation of 11 teachers in junior high school teachers’ gender,age,marriage status,school,teaching age,education background,title,weekly class hours,teaching workload,whether to serve as class teacher or not,and 11 major teaching subjects.Taking key events as the starting point,combining with the top six key events,the interview outline is designed,and the content of the interview is analyzed qualitatively with NVivo 11 software,and the current situation of the professional development of junior middle school teachers in x county is summarized.Through the research of these key events,some suggestions are put forward to promote the professional development of local teachers.
