The outline of basic education curriculum reform clearly points out that "we should change the current situation of too many subjects and lack of integration,and strengthen the connection between curriculum content and students' life,as well as the development of modern society and science and technology".STSE education is advocated in the curriculum concept,general objectives,teaching suggestions and textbook compilation of biology curriculum standard for compulsory education(2011 Edition).With the development of economy,environmental problems are more serious.On the basis of STS education,it is conducive to the sustainable development of society to excavate the content of STSE education in teaching materials and increase environmental protection education.This study adopted the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and comparative research.Through the analysis of the results of questionnaire and interview,we can understand the current situation of STSE education in junior high school biology teaching.Through the comparison of the teaching materials of biology published by people's education press of China and scientific Explorer,the mainstream science teaching material of junior high school in the United States,we can find out the direction about their similarities and differences.Based on the two,I put forward some suggestions on teaching materials,teachers,evaluation and schools,so as to promote the STSE education in junior middle school biology teaching.This study adopts literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,comparative research method,through the analysis of questionnaire and interview results,understand the development status of STSE education in junior middle school biology teaching;The results show that the current situation of STSE education in junior high school biology teaching is as follows:1.Students attach importance to STSE education in thought,but lack of action;2.Students are interested in STSE education,but lack of ability;3.Teachers do not have a deep understanding of STSE education;4.Teachers do not make full use of STSE education resources;5.The current situation of STSE Education is not ideal.The results of the comparison of the textbooks are as follows: 1.In terms of the subject:(1)in terms of biology and technology,the number of textbooks in Biology is more and more extensive in China,but the content of Scientific Explorer is more in-depth;(2)in terms of biology and social production,both editions attach more importance to agriculture,and the number of Biology is more than that of Scientific Explorers;(3)for biology and modern life,two editions are more important The teaching materials attach great importance to this part of the content,with the largest proportion: in terms of medicine and human health,they pay more attention to the physical health of students,but the content of mental health involves less;in daily life,they describe the daily life of clothing,food and living,but the teaching materials in China also involve spiritual life;In terms of professional life,the number of Biology textbooks is more,but the content of Scientific Explorer is more in-depth;(4)in terms of biology and environment,biology and society,the number of Scientific Explorer is more and more detailed.2.In terms of number,there are many STSE education contents in Scientific Explorer.3.In the presentation mode,the STSE education contents of the two editions of the textbooks are widely distributed,the STSE education content of biology is presented in22 columns,and the "practice" column is the most;the STSE education content of scientific Explorer is distributed in 21 columns,and the most is "body".4.In STSE education column,there are many STSE columns in biology,but in the overall length,the two are roughly the same;the column information provided by Science Explorer is richer and the problem setting is more reasonable.5.Common points of the two editions of the textbooks: attach importance to scene creation,increase students' real experience;infiltrate legal thoughts,pay attention to environmental protection;pay attention to the history of biological science;carry out family activities and highlight social responsibility.The two editions of the textbooks have their own characteristics: Biology can improve students' humanistic quality and pay attention to the education of emotional attitude values;Scientific Explorer attaches importance to the cultivation of students' social decision-making ability,and the language of the textbooks is humorous and readable.The following suggestions were put forward in this study: 1.Updating some contents,highlighting the times of teaching materials;2.Supplement some contents to reflect the richness of teaching materials;3.Optimize STSE education column and show the specialty of teaching materials.In terms of teachers: 1.To study the educational theory in depth to improve teaching practice;2.To strengthen the development of STSE education resources;3.To optimize the design of STSE homework and to strengthen the evaluation of homework;4.To carry out diversified STSE experimental teaching to improve students' interest.In teaching evaluation: increase the experimental operation test.In school: 1.Provide rich STSE education resources;2.Strengthen home school cooperation.
