The "General High School Geography Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition 2020Revision)" mentions that the core literacy of the subject is the correct values,necessary qualities and key abilities that students gradually form through subject learning.With the development of the core literacy of the subject,people mention the term geographic essential character more and more times,and pay more and more attention to the essential character of geography.However,through research,we have found that although the frequency of use of geographic essential qualities is increasing,they rarely give an accurate definition of what is geographic essential qualities.Generally speaking,people have relatively little specific understanding of the geographical essential characters.They know some of the geographical essential characters,but they are not very clear about what they are,and they lack a complete composition system.In this context,this article has selected the theme of "Study on the Composition of Geographical Essential Characters of Senior High School Students and Their Cultivation Strategies".In order to better help everyone understand the essential characteristics of geography and its composition,this article uses a variety of research methods such as literature analysis and questionnaire surveys.After a comprehensive analysis of psychology,geography teaching and other related content,it is concluded that the geographical character is the student The stable psychological characteristics that are formed through the study of geography and displayed when solving real situational geography problems are a consistent and unique phenomenon in the overall performance of personal attitudes,thinking,and behaviors.There is a difference between the essential character of geography and the character of geography.Essential refers to the necessary,which is the stable psychological characteristic that is indispensable in the process of geography learning.According to its meaning,it mainly includes two dimensions: geographic attitude and geographic thinking.After deletion,preliminary drafting,questionnaire survey and other steps,a high school student geography essential character system has been constructed.This system contains three levels from top to bottom.The first level mainly includes two dimensions of attitude and thinking;the second level of attitude The bottom includes five aspects: geographic aesthetic taste,family and country sentiments,world vision,scientific attitude,and environment-development attitude.Under thinking,there are four aspects: scale thinking,comprehensive thinking,regional thinking,and man-land relationship thinking;the third level is in these nine aspects.A more specific and detailed classification is included under the geography essential character.At the same time,in order to better cultivate the geography essential character of students,we have put forward corresponding training strategies according to different teaching links for the development of students.In the pre-class preparation process,teachers should strive to improve themselves,formulate detailed teaching goals according to the development of students,and select appropriate teaching materials according to the goals;in the teaching process,teachers should make full use of the subject characteristics of geography to change traditional teaching methods,To provide students with a good classroom atmosphere;after class,we should pay attention to geographical practice activities and emphasize multi-faceted infiltration training,while adopting a variety of methods to stimulate students’ motivation for lifelong learning.In short,the cultivation of geographic essential characters is a long-term process that requires continuous efforts from all aspects. |
