Research On The Cultivation Of Data Literacy Of Archival Students

As human society enters the era of big data,the importance of data has become increasingly prominent,and it has become an important productivity resource to promote social and economic development,it also led to the increasing demand for talents with data literacy in society.It has become a new direction for the development of professional education in Colleges and universities to reserve high-quality compound talents with data literacy for national and social development.This paper takes the cultivation of data literacy of college students majoring in archival science as the theme,and explores the new development of archival science education from the perspective of talent cultivation.On the basis of explaining the relationship between data,information and archives,this paper discusses the connotation of data literacy,and on this basis,combined with the characteristics of archival science,summarizes the cultivation goal of students' data literacy.Combined with the current social environment,this paper analyzes the necessity and significance of archives major to pay attention to the cultivation of students' data literacy.At the same time,this paper analyzes the training program and curriculum of archives major in Colleges and universities,and summarizes the current situation of data literacy cultivation of archives major students in China.When exploring the path of data literacy cultivation of Archival Education in China,this paper takes the data literacy cultivation practice projects at home and abroad as the analysis cases to summarize and learn their experience.It is pointed out that the cultivation of data literacy should be included in the cultivation goal as soon as possible,the cultivation resources of interconnected data literacy should be co constructed and shared,the concept of Digital Humanities should be introduced to balance the development of students' comprehensive quality,the cultivation mode of embedded archival data literacy should be constructed,the evaluation system of archival data literacy should be constructed,and the data literacy of archival students in China should be improved in multiple ways.
