Music class is always the “short slab” in rural schools.In the past,music teaching in rural pilot schools mainly relied on part-time teachers and volunteer teachers.Driven by educational informatization,music teaching is facing a new developmental environment.Since online music class is a basic approach for rural pupil to touch music and feel the beauty of music,more and more regions try to utilize online joint mode for music teaching.But what are the problems in online music classes? If all the courses can be carried out online and whether the joint music class can achieve the expectation?In this study,we selected different model for different field work places,such as the D-District model is for famous schools with traditional teaching method in the city,the Y-City Model is for the leading schools with rural pilot spots,and the G-City model is for spontaneously allied rural schools.Questionnaires are distributed to the music teachers in those field work areas,combined with classroom observation,the author analyzes the situation of online music teaching,network infrastructure,the effect of online music teaching practice,and figured out existing problems.The study found that the institution is the vital driving-force for online joint classes.D-District model is characterized by the construction of "joint classroom",various training systems driven by administration,and the professional development of teachers.Y-City model is characterized by the establishment of education groups with the support from the government.Although G-City model is characterized by "bottom-up" independent development of schools,this co-operational model received strong support from the authorities.The main problems are the cognitive deviation of music education concept and lacking professional knowledge of music teachers.Despite the establishment of the "online joint teaching" environment,there are serious problems such as incomplete courses,non-standard teaching,poor teaching interaction,and etc.Besides,the workload of part-time teachers onsite are overloaded,but their sense of self-improvement is kind of weak.In terms of music teaching infrastructure,the musical instrument is insufficient,the teaching equipment are outdated,and the network quality is poor.In the matter of the teaching resources,the content supplied is not suitable for the students in rural areas.Therefore,the teaching resources should be specially designed and developed,the platform for interaction between teachers and students should be built,and teaching hours and teaching quality should be guaranteed through institution.Furthermore,the interaction between the onsite teacher and online teacher should be enhanced,and their cooperative relationship should be established to improve the ability of onsite teachers.
