Physics experiment plays an important role in physics.During the development of physics,the evolution and improvement of law and theory of physics are illustrated and demonstrated by the experiment,which is the fundamental of modern physics.The Physics Curriculum Standard of Senior High School(2017 Edition)from the Ministry of Education,requests higher quality of the physics experiment curriculum in the stage of senior high school.Consequently,understand the current state of high school physics curriculum in different regions and figure out the problems in the implementation process of physics experiment teaching are critical to promoting the development of high school physics experiment teaching under the standard.Through the investigation of National Standards of Laboratory Construction for Middle and High School,National Standards for Physics Laboratory Equipment and The Physics Curriculum Standard of Senior High School,the requirement of software and hardware in the high school physics experiment teaching has concluded in this study.According to these standards,the physics laboratories of some high schools in Anshan City have been visited,the questionnaires for high school students and teachers were designed and distributed.It is expected that the current situation of physics experiment teaching,the allocation of laboratory resources,and the real views on the physics experiment were understood from teachers' and students' points of view.The number and area of physics laboratories in most schools could basically satisfy the national requirements,but there is a certain gap in laboratory facilities between different levels of schools.The allocation of the instruments for the physics laboratory,preparation room,and instrument in key high school is better than the common high school,the situation in some private high school even worse.The allocation of the experiment equipment also has a similar characteristic,the type and number of the experiment equipment are abundant in the key high schools,which could satisfy the requirement of the students' grouping experiments and teachers' demonstration experiments.However,some private schools could not support the physics experiment teaching hardware conditions due to the poor allocation of the experiment equipment.Additionally,the construction of digital laboratory is insufficient,many schools don't have a specialized digital laboratory,the allocation of the digital equipment is also worse.Teachers don't pay enough attention to the experiment teaching.According to the situation of the experiment curriculum,the establish proportion of the 11 traditional mechanics,electricity,and optics experiments curriculum is over 70% among the 21 required experiments in the curriculum standard,the setup proportion of some experiment curriculum is lower than 30%.In addition,the less optimistic situation of teachers' demonstration experiments has also been reported,only 19% of teachers often establish demonstration experiments.The lack of equipment and curriculum tension are the main reasons,resulting in the experiment is not established as the requirements.Also,76% of teachers only open the physics laboratories to students in the experimental class due to the shortage of the open system of laboratories.There is also room for teachers to improve the exploration of experimental resources,38% of teachers little or never use daily essentials and materials to do the experiments.The training of teachers' experimental accomplishment also needs to be strengthened,52% of teachers have never participated in the training of experimental teaching skills organized by the education authorities.Although 82% of the students are very interested in physics experiments,only 25% and23% of students often prepare the lessons before the group experiments and suggest their own ideas during the group experiments,respectively.Therefore,the attitude to experimental class and the creative thinking of the students still needs to be improved.In the physics experiment,the technique of practical operation and exploring consciousness are also insufficient.When they encounter problems in the experiment,55% of the students prefer to consult their teachers or classmates,and only 25% of the students will try to do some extracurricular experiments.95% of the students are willing to communicate and cooperate with their classmates during the experiments,owing to their good sense of communication in the experiment.Some suggestions were proposed aiming at the problems found in investigation:(1)Strengthen the investment in laboratory infrastructure,improve the allocation of the physics experiment equipment in the laboratories.(2)Appropriately increase some training of the experiment teaching,organize the learning exchange programs for teachers,and improve the quality of experimental teaching.(3)Change the teaching concepts,and the experiment should be attached which is an important teaching method to cultivate the core physics quality of students.(4)Increase the number of experiment curriculum to increase the opportunities for students to participate in physics experiments.(5)Enhance the awareness of the development of experimental resources,fully utilize the daily necessities to alleviate the difficulty in curriculum arrangement due to the lack of experimental equipment.
