In recent years,the reading of famous works has been paid more and more attention by the educational circles,and most areas are developing vigorously.However,the reading of junior high school classics in minority areas is not optimistic,which has its own unique difficulties in minority areas,as well as the problems of school reading teaching in actual teaching.Due to the influence of traditional exam-oriented education,teachers’ teaching focus is mostly on traditional culture classes,and most of the teaching ideas and educational thoughts of reading famous works still continue the traditional education mode.Most of the students’ energy is still focused on the study of traditional culture,and they are unwilling to read famous books.Most of the students’ experience in reading famous books is simple,which fails to meet the requirements of improving their Chinese literacy and comprehensive quality through reading famous books.Therefore,it is very important to solve the problems in reading famous books in junior middle schools in minority areas.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is the preface.The preface mainly includes five aspects: the origin of the topic selection,the recent research situation of reading famous works,the definition of basic concepts,the theoretical basis and research methods.Reading famous books is an indispensable part of reading teaching,and it is also a difficult point in Chinese quality education at present.The research on the reading of famous works at home and abroad is thorough,but it lacks the research on the reading of famous works in ethnic minority areas.The minority area studied in this study is Shizhu County,Chongqing.Based on the new curriculum standard,the zone of proximal development,the reading dialogue theory and the humanistic learning theory,this paper uses the research methods of investigation and literature research to conduct in-depth analysis and research,and adopts the framework model of asking questions,analyzing problems and then solving problems,so as to study meaningful conclusions.The second part is the reading characteristics of Tujia in Shizhu.There must be some similarities between the reading characteristics of ethnic minority areas and those of Han areas,but there must be many unique phenomena.Facing the present situation of reading famous books in junior middle schools in ethnic minority areas,it is very important to understand the unique reading characteristics of ethnic minority areas.Its characteristics mainly include the following four points: first,economic backwardness leads to backward education;second,Tujia dialect affects the correctness of reading aloud;third,it prefers myths and heroic stories;fourth,it is the contradiction between the dissemination of Chinese and foreign famous works and Tujia cultural inheritance.The third part is from the perspective of students and teachers,in the form of questionnaires and interviews,to clarify the current situation of reading activities of famous works in junior middle schools in minority areas.In this paper,a questionnaire is designed from five aspects: students’ reading interest,reading content,reading form,reading environment and teachers’ curriculum guidance.It is distributed to junior high school students in three Shizhu counties by means of online questionnaire,and the current situation of reading famous works is analyzed from the perspective of minority junior high school students.Then,the author designs an interview outline from the following aspects: teachers’ reading situation,reading time,reading teaching content,form,planning,investigation methods and suggestions,and interviews Chinese teachers in junior middle schools face to face,so as to master the situation of reading teaching of famous works in ethnic minority areas from the perspective of teachers.The survey found that ethnic minority students have low initiative in reading famous works and do not like communication and reading methods;At present,there are some problems,such as teachers’ low attention and utilitarianism in reading teaching,single teaching methods,ignoring students’ differences and unreasonable evaluation methods,which need to be solved by teachers in Shizhu County.The fourth part is to explore strategies to promote the reading situation of junior high school classics in minority areas.First of all,teachers should pay attention to the teaching of reading famous books,tailor the corresponding reading teaching courses of Tujia ,establish clear and effective teaching objectives and formulate specific teaching plans for reading famous books,so that the reading courses of famous books can be carried out in a planned way;Secondly,the teacher changed the teaching concept,combined with the reading method of "reading guide to famous works",practically taught students to master the appropriate reading methods of various types of famous works,and endowed them with the idea of reading famous works in groups,organically connecting Chinese and foreign famous works with minority cultures,broadening students’ horizons and enriching students’ reading volume;Then keep up with the teaching trend,use the "smart classroom" flexibly,solve the problem of inaccurate pronunciation in reading aloud in ethnic minority areas,enrich the form of famous book reading courses through multimedia and various activities,and improve students’ interest and initiative in reading famous books;Then build a scientific and efficient evaluation system for reading famous books,with comprehensive and diverse evaluation objectives;Finally,the government vigorously supports the economy of Shizhu County,promotes the return of parents,and the home and school jointly promote the reading environment inside and outside the school to provide students with a good reading atmosphere.
