Both the body and mind of junior high school students are in a stage of rapid development,and the level of their healthy life literacy will directly affect their personal growth and development.As the importance of the development of core literacy among Chinese students has become increasingly prominent,attentionshouldbe paid to students' healthy life literacy,but the current situation of the healthy life literacy of junior high school students is not optimistic,and the relevant research on the healthy life literacy of junior high school students is insufficient.By investigating the status quo of healthy life literacy of junior high school students,it is helpful to discover the problems of junior high school students,analyze the causes,and seek strategies to improve the healthy life literacy in response to the problems,which can promote the improvement of the level of personal healthy life literacy of junior high school students,prompt the school to pay more attention to the health education of junior high school students,and enrich the research content of healthy life literacy.Based on the analysis of existing literature on health literacy and healthy life literacy,from the perspective of pedagogy,the content of healthy life in the core literacy development of Chinese students is integrated into the theoretical framework of healthy literacyto form the research framework of healthy life literacy.The questionnaire method was used to select the students in Grade 7,Grade 8,and Grade 9 of middle school in different districts of Panzhihua City to conduct the investigation on the status quo of healthy life literacy of junior high school students in terms of health knowledge and concepts,healthy lifestyles and behaviors,and basic health skills.According to the investigation results,the overall level of healthy life literacy of junior high school studentsin the sample area is relatively high.However,the following problems still exist:1.Some students have a simple outlook on life,lack sympathy,cannot properly regulate bad emotions,and have a weak self-control capacity.2.The status quo of healthy life literacy of junior high school students shows gender differences.Girls have more positive psychological qualities,higher safety awareness and self-protection ability than boys;boys have stronger ability to regulate and manage their emotions than girls.3.The status quo of healthy life literacy of junior high school students presents grade differences.The level of healthy life literacy of the first grade students is higher than that of the second and third grade.4.The status quo of healthy life literacy of junior high school students presents inter-school differences.The level of healthy life literacy of junior high school students in urban areas is significantly higher than that of junior high school students in townships.The main factors affecting the healthy life literacy of junior high school students are:1.Junior high school students are restricted by their own physical and mental development.Their world outlook,values and outlook on life are gradually taking shape,and their cognitive development,emotional development,and social development are immature.2.Schools do not have enough knowledge on and attention to health education for junior high school students.3.Under the background of exam-oriented education,parents do not pay enough attention to the physical and mental health of their children;parental quality education,healthy lifestyles and behaviors have a certain impact on the development of healthy life literacy of junior high school students.4.A negative social cultural environment and an unhealthy network environment will have a negative impact on the development of the health literacy of junior high school students.In order to improve the quality of healthy life of junior high school students,we can start from the following aspects:1.On the personal side,students should improve their cognition level,be the master of emotions,effectively deal with negative emotions,overcome problems and conflicts rationally,cultivate and improve self-control.2.In terms of school,emphasis and attention should be paid to the healthy life literacy of junior high school students and especiallytownship schools should carry out various activities that can promote the healthy growth and development of students;teachers should provide students with examples of healthy life and strengthen their health Behavior;schools should carry out differentiated education,carry out more mental health education and safety education activities for boys,and carry out emotional regulation theme education activities for girls;carry out psychological lectures and grade group activities for students in the second and third grades.3.In terms of family,parents should establish a healthy education concept;become the example of children on behavior and habits;strengthen physical exercise and encourage children to participate in physical exercise at the same time.4.In terms of society,the network environment should be optimized and a positive social cultural environment conducive to the improvement of students' healthy life literacy should be created.
