Family factors refer to the objective family environment in which children are born and grow up,the support and participation of parents in their children's growth and development, and parents' own behaviors.Family factors have an imperceptible influence on students' all-round physical and mental development and play an important role in their growth. For middle school students who are in the transition period of growth, the importance of family factors is particularly prominent. In reading learning, good family factors play a positive role in improving the reading quality of junior high school students. Therefore, family reading education has been attached great importance to by some teachers and parents. However,in the existing relevant studies, most of the researchers only focus on the parental participation in family factors, and few of them focus on the family factors of reading education. This paper is mainly divided into three parts:The first part.Starting from the current social background, the particularity and necessity of family factors in the reading education of junior high school students are analyzed, and the concept of family factors is defined in combination with previous research results,so as to determine the purpose and significance of this research. The second part.On a certain theoretical basis, this paper adopts the research method of combining questionnaire survey and reading test, and randomly selects 180 students of grade two as subjects. After data collection, the relationship between family factors affecting reading and reading literacy of junior middle school students and its current situation are analyzed, mainly from four dimensions of family environment, parent support, parent participation and parents' own reading behavior.Data shows that both parental support and parental involvement are significantly positively related to junior high school students' reading literacy, and both family environment and parents'own reading behaviors are certainly positively related to junior high school students'reading literacy. The survey also finds that the overall family environment of junior high school students is good; The current situation of parents' reading support is optimistic, but extracurricular activities support is insufficient; The current situation of parents'participation in their children's reading is optimistic, but their enthusiasm for home-school interaction is poor;Parents' own reading behaviors are not optimistic too.The third part. This part makes further reflection on the current situation of junior high school students' reading literacy affected by family factors, and combines interviews with some parents to find out the problems and their causes, and provides some strategies for parents, teachers and schools to promote family to be a positive factor in improving junior high school students' reading literacy. From the perspective of parents, parents should create a good family reading environment, support and participate in their children's reading activities, actively participate in home-school interaction, and improve their own reading behavior; From the perspective of teachers, teachers should timely feedback to parents about students' reading status and design parent-child reading activities for junior high school students. From the perspective of schools, schools should give parents guidance on family reading education and promote home-school cooperation,so as to improve the reading literacy of junior high school students.
