One of the goals of China's basic education curriculum reform is to change the function of curriculum evaluation which overemphasizes screening and selection,and promote the development of students through evaluation.As a kind of informal evaluation,performance assessment has been paid more and more attention.The research purpose of this topic is to provide the corresponding performance evaluation design and implementation framework through the development of specific teaching evaluation cases,as well as the application in the actual teaching situation,so as to provide new research findings for solving the problems existing in junior high school oral communication teaching evaluation,break through the bottleneck of traditional paper and pen test,and let the performance evaluation based on the authenticity situation really enter the classroom Junior high school oral communication teaching.This paper mainly uses the methods of questionnaire,interview,classroom observation and literature research to study the application of performance evaluation in junior high school oral communication teaching,analyzes its positive impact,reflects on its shortcomings and discusses the direction of follow-up efforts.First of all,through the literature research method,combing and analyzing the relevant literature of oral communication teaching and performance evaluation,to further improve the theoretical basis of the application of performance evaluation in oral communication teaching.Secondly,through the questionnaire survey,we can understand the application status and problems of performance evaluation in junior high school oral communication teaching.Then,the results of the questionnaire survey are analysed and combined with specific teaching cases to explore the extent to which expressive assessment is appropriate for teaching oral communication.Finally,with the help of the existing performance evaluation structure paradigm to develop specific oral communication cases,through the collection of students'performance works,the original evaluation procedure is modified and optimized,and the application effect of the combination of performance evaluation and oral communication teaching is analyzed,so as to provide direct reference for the formulation of performance scoring rules for front-line teachers.The main findings of this study include three aspects:first,the application of performance evaluation in junior high school oral communication teaching is conducive to improving students' self-evaluation ability;second,performance evaluation focuses on the emotional attitude and values of oral communication teaching;third,the application of performance evaluation in junior high school oral communication teaching is conducive to improving students' active communication ability.By reflecting on the teaching process and the problems that emerged from the research methods,this study came to the following conclusions:first,the application of performance evaluation in junior high school oral communication teaching needs the participation of front-line teachers;second,there is an urgent need for a scoring rule model suitable for application in China's oral communication classroom;third,theoretical research needs a large number of practical cases to support.
