Teacher resilience refers to the resilience shown by teachers in the face of difficulties and setbacks in their work,which can effectively protect the professional development of teachers and help them continue to engage in the teaching profession.At present,one of the hot topics in teacher research is teacher resilience.As one of the basic subjects of natural science,middle school chemistry course has vital value to improve the quality of students,and can lay a foundation for the sustainable development of students.To cultivate high-quality talents,high-quality teachers must play an essential role in it.However,novice middle school chemistry teachers who just set foot on the job face the pressure and challenges of lack of teaching experience,heavy work tasks,high scientific research pressure,and low subject status.Whether they can stick to the teaching post,and achieve professional development depends on whether they can actively cope with stress and challenges,maintain their devotion to work and enthusiasm for teaching.Therefore,the topic of the resilience of novice middle school chemistry teachers is worth studying.This study,based on foreign teachers resilience structure model,has a solid theoretical foundation,for the novice six middle school chemistry teachers in China,based on the local practice,finally built include the work ability,teacher management,teachers' beliefs and external support four dimensions of middle school chemistry novice teachers resilience structure model.Based on the constructed structural model and the existing teacher resilience measurement tools at home and abroad,a scale for measuring the resilience of junior middle school chemistry teachers was developed.Then,the scale' quality was tested and analyzed by using the classical measurement theory and the item response theory Rasch model scientifically and reasonably.According to the analysis result after modification to optimize inventory,used SPSS software and Bond & Fox Steps software to analyze the quality of scale,used Amos software to establish the structure of teacher resilience model verification,at the same time used the questionnaire survey data obtained proves that this study better teacher resilience structure model was established,scientific and reasonable,development scale of better quality.This study using the development of middle school chemistry novice teachers resilience measurement scale survey nationwide 449 novice high school chemistry teachers resilience,found that our country middle school chemistry novice teachers resilience level is not high,among them,the dimension level from high to low in turn support to the outside world,work ability,teacher management,teachers' beliefs;There are significant differences in gender,urban and rural areas,educational background,teaching period,but no significant differences in school type and marital status of middle school chemistry novice teachers.According to the survey results,this study proposes strategies to improve the resilience of novice middle school chemistry teachers,including the novice middle school chemistry teachers themselves,the school and the relevant departments.On the personal level,teachers should improve their work ability,interpersonal management ability,emotional management ability,and the ability to balance life and work.At the school level,we should create a positive and healthy school atmosphere,pay attention to the professional development of junior middle school chemistry teachers,and establish community schools.At the level of relevant departments: deepen teacher education reform to enhance the professional level;enrich teachers resilience' pre-service education and in-service training resources;increase financial input.
