Moral judgment ability is the focus and difficulty in the field of moral psychology and applied education. When we are faced with some difficult decisions, according to the inherent moral principles, through thinking and discussion to make some kind of moral decision,to solve the current problem and conflict.Color plays an indispensable role in human life.People recognize color through perception.People have the same sensitivity to spectrum because they share the same neurophysiological structure of vision. With the emergence and rise of embodied cognition theory, researchers have also found that colors can be used to represent people’s emotions as well as their abstract morality.Machiavellianism is defined as a person’s tendency to distrust others,to engage in immoral manipulation,to seek control over others, and to seek status for oneself. The results show that it is closely related to unethical behavior such as distrust and betrayal. At the same time, individuals will be seriously affected by the characteristics of Machiavellianism in the process of their ethical and moral evaluation.Accordingly, this study combs the related theories of Machiavellianism, color metaphor and moral judgment, and explores the influence of color information as external physical environment and personality traits as internal factors on the moral judgment ability of junior high school students.Three studies were used to explore the Machiavellianism personality traits, the effects of warm and cold color metaphors on the moral judgment of junior high school students, and the differences between high Machiavellians and low Machiavellians in moral judgment. In the first study,in order to explore the relationship between Machiavellianism personality traits and moral judgments of junior high school students,a questionnaire survey was used to conduct the research. The results showed that among middle school students, those who scored higher on Machiavellianism personality traits had lower ability to judge moral stories. That is,there is a negative correlation between Machiavellianism’s personality traits and the level of moral judgment.Junior high school students are most willing to accept Kohlberg’s theory of moral development in the late level of custom, the least willing to accept the early level of custom. On the whole, the moral judgment ability of junior high school students is at the middle level, and the moral emotion tendency is at the high level. In the second study, the Stroop paradigm was used to ask subjects with high and low scores to judge the parts of speech of moral words presented in red and blue fonts. The results showed that the reaction time for red words was faster than that for blue words, and the main effect of word color was significant. The main effect of words was significant, and the response time to moral words was significantly faster than that of non-moral words.People with high Machiavellianism and those with low Machiavellianism were both influenced by the color metaphors of warm and cold.Studies three moral dilemma story, low high horse and horse was try to under the background of red, blue two 10 dilemma in the story of the hero for 1-7 points of moral judgment, the higher the score to the moral Found in the red and blue color background materials under high horse moral judgment standard under the condition of low than the horse is in the same judgment standard looser Tall horses were more influenced by the metaphorical representation direction of moral in red than low horses, and the metaphorical representation direction of moral in blue was similar to high horses and low horses. It is found that there is a negative correlation between Machiavellianism and moral judgment ability of junior middle school students. In terms of moral judgment ability, most junior middle school students reached the middle level. In terms of moral emotional tendency, junior high school students are more likely to agree with a higher level of moral emotional tendency.Junior high school students with Machiavellianism characteristics will be affected by the main effect of font color and the main effect of word attribute when they perform the word judgment task.High Machiavellianism Junior high school students with high Machiavellianism traits had more lenient judgment criteria than low Machiavellianism junior high school students when making judgments on moral dilemma stories under both red and blue background materials.
