As a result, moral life is becoming increasingly complex which constantly makes people face the puzzlement of all kinds of moral conflict and moral choice. Especially to the middle school students who are generally between 13 to 18 years old is carrying out the transition from children to youth.It has become the primary task of moral education for the school to help the students to form the independent ability in moral judgment.The author of the dissertation believes that we need the moral judgment capacity to equip us to cope with the increasingly complex moral life in the contemporary society. Lastly, methods of cultivating it in school moral education are put forward.Moral judgment capacity is on the right moral cognition, uses moral episteme, analyses moral question that we face and the capacity of making the scientific judge of right or wrong, good or evil. It founds on the scientific rational capacity of moral acquaintanceship. It is the logical jumping-off point and precondition of moral choice capacity. In addition, moral judgment capacity can be divided into different typesaccording to different criterions, but these types are not exclusive from each other as moral judgment capacity itself is regarded as a whole.
