The importance of reading the whole book To students' development is self-evident,is a clear requirement of Chinese curriculum standards,but the current situation of reading the whole book is not optimistic.In the current educational environment,the teaching of whole book reading faces many dilemmas.It will take some time for the education environment to change.At present,it is feasible for students to improve the current situation of Whole Book Reading by establishing the connection between the novel excerpts and the original work and linking inside and outside.As an organic part of the original work,excerpts from novels are closely related to the original work both in content and structure.However,for a variety of reasons,for a long time,the teaching of novel excerpts in practical teaching often follows the mode of teaching excerpts by excerpts,which breaks the connection between the excerpts and the original works,or only makes a superficial and simple connection.This,to a considerable extent,restricts the development of students' abilities of holistic thinking and critical thinking,and does not conform to the pursuit of deep learning and deep reading in Chinese teaching under the background of core literacy.Therefore,the teaching of novel excerpts from the perspective of Whole Book Reading is of great significance.It can not only deepen students' understanding of the content of the novel excerpt itself,but also help to improve students' Whole Book Reading status quo and cultivate students' Chinese core quality.Based on this,this article from the curriculum for the requirement of students Whole Book Reading,in junior middle school fiction excerpts from the text teaching as the research object,the theoretical connotation of the whole book reading,expounds the value and significance,and on the basis of empirical study,based on the current junior high school of the perspective of the whole book reading fiction excerpts from problems in the teaching for thinking,Focusing on exploring how to use effective methods and strategies in teaching,create reading opportunities,guide reading methods,stimulate reading interest,lay a bridge for students' Whole Book Reading,and promote the transformation of reading teaching classroom.This paper is divided into five chapters:Chapter One: Introduction,including the reasons for the study,the review of relevant literature,research methods.Chapter Two: the historical origin of the concept of reading the whole book and the connotation and value of reading the whole book.It includes the historical origin of the concept of reading the whole book,the connotation of reading the whole book from the perspective of core literacy,and the significance and value of reading the whole book in the teaching of novel excerpts.It is expected to lay a theoretical foundation for this thesis.The third chapter: reading the whole book and the investigation of the present situation of the teaching of novel excerpts in junior high school.To understand the current situation of teachers' and students' whole book reading and the current situation of the teaching of novel excerpts in junior high school.By analyzing the results of questionnaire survey and interview,this thesis summarizes the challenges faced by the teaching of novel excerpts in junior high school to reading the whole book,in order to lay a practical foundation for this thesis.The fourth chapter: the whole book reading"from the perspective of junior high school fiction excerpted text teaching gist and appeal.Focusing on the basic principles of teaching and based on the results of the third chapter,this thesis first helps front-line teachers to clarify the teaching objectives,key teaching contents and the gist of teaching process design,and then analyzes the demands of fiction excerpt teaching to teachers and students from the perspective of Whole Book Reading.Chapter Five: Strategies of teaching novel excerpts in junior high school from the perspective of reading the whole book.It is proposed to stimulate reading interest,close reading of text,comparative reading and timely and moderate supplement as the fulcrum,and promote the extension of the teaching of novel excerpts in junior middle school to Whole Book Reading.And actively introduce specific junior high school fiction excerpts teaching for analysis and evidence,in order to provide practical help for the actual teaching of teachers.
