As an important way for the school to implement aesthetic education,music class,through diversified and vivid music teaching,enables students to cultivate moral sentiment,explore creative potential,cultivate the spirit of the group,and improve the aesthetic and humanistic quality.Under the background of college entrance examination reform,music curriculum standards for senior high schools revised in 2020(2017 edition)provide new directions and indicators for senior high school music education.The new music course of senior high school consists of compulsory courses,selective compulsory courses and elective courses.Among them,compulsory courses are the basic courses for all students,which have more practical and practical significance compared with selective compulsory courses and elective courses.As a compulsory course in music appreciation module began in 2003,the full implementation of the existing experience on the opening of a relatively easy to some,but singing,play,music,creative,music and dance,music and drama to the five modules from the courses for the first time into the compulsory part,there is no ready-made experience to follow,there will be some difficulties in opening process.Moreover,at present,students have an attitude towards the single music appreciation module which can be learned or not learned,and it is difficult to implement music teaching.Therefore,it is urgent to adopt corresponding strategies to change the teaching status of single module of music course.This paper aims at investigating the Xiamen city part of the ordinary high school and study,understand the new curriculum standards promulgated after the compulsory course for the school music development present situation,summarizes the characteristics of different schools curriculum,relatively successful,and difficulties in the process of curriculum implementation,etc.,to explore in ordinary high school to promote music strategy is a compulsory course,It is expected to provide a basis for the improvement and reform of music teaching quality in ordinary senior high schools in Xiamen.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is an overview of the new curriculum standard and a comparison with the experimental version of the curriculum standard.The second part mainly investigates the current situation of the implementation of compulsory music courses in some ordinary high schools in Xiamen under the background of the new curriculum standard.The third part mainly introduces how Xiamen No.6 Middle School actively responds to the new curriculum reform and sets up more music teaching modules in combination with the school's existing teaching resources.The fourth part is based on the problems existing in the implementation of compulsory music courses in ordinary high schools in Xiamen City,combined with the relatively reasonable and perfect way of opening courses in Xiamen No.6 Middle School,put forward the strategies suitable for promoting the comprehensive opening of compulsory music courses.
