Bloom,a master of educational reform in Chicago,USA,divided the teaching process into three stages,and put forward three evaluation methods: diagnostic evaluation,formative evaluation and summative evaluation according to the different stages.Among them,diagnostic evaluation can help teachers better understand the existing knowledge,and understand students' moral emotion and personality characteristics.Teachers can effectively reveal the crux of poor teaching by diagnosing the common problems of students and judging the causes of the problems,Accurately find the right time in the next step of teaching activities,make an accurate evaluation of students' learning degree in a targeted,timely and accurate manner,And timely remedy,so as to achieve a more ideal teaching effect.This study attempts to design and apply systematic diagnostic evaluation in routine teaching practice,and describes the application strategy of diagnostic evaluation in practical teaching as an actor on the basis of practice and reflection.Specific research focuses on two core issues:How to use predictive diagnosis for instructional design,How to Use Formative Diagnostic Evaluation to Develop Evidence-based Teaching.In this study,literature review,test and questioning method are used to describe the application strategies of diagnostic evaluation through summing up practical experience,trying to answer three questions raised by the study.(1)when and what to diagnose? That is to say,what links are diagnosed in the implementation of a certain teaching content,and what aspects of teaching are diagnosed;(1)when and what to diagnose? That is to say,what links are diagnosed in the implementation of a certain teaching content,and what aspects of teaching are diagnosed;(2)How to diagnose,that is,which diagnostic methods are used to diagnose these aspects;(3)How to use the diagnosis results? How to carry out more effective teaching based on diagnosis,understand the actual situation of students with diagnosis and guide teaching practice.On the basis of previous studies,the author analyzes the concept of diagnostic evaluation,and forms the theoretical framework of diagnostic evaluation,which is used as a guide to carry out teaching practice research.Taking the unit of the law of conservation of mass as an example,we use diagnostic evaluation in our own teaching practice,sum up and reflect on the experience in the application process,and form and present the application strategy of diagnostic evaluation.
