Research On Social Work Intervening In The Practice Of The New Generation Of Migrant Workers' Community Integration

Since the beginning of the 21st century,the new generation of migrant workers has become the focus of public attention.This group is more educated,has a weaker attachment to the countryside,and is more eager to "root" in the city.At present,my country's urbanization is still advancing,and the migration of a large number of rural people into cities will continue.The community is the main place for the new generation of migrant workers to live,and it is also the place where the new generation of migrant workers complete the role and identity conversion.Allowing farmers who work in cities to better adapt to their daily lives and integrate into the community environment is of great significance for social work to help the development of China's urban and rural society.In the context of social work,it is worth studying how to promote the new generation of migrant workers to form a sense of belonging and security in the community so as to better integrate into the community.This article takes L's “community-based integration” project as an example.It uses field observations,questionnaires and interviews to study the integration status of the new generation of migrant workers(work,life,communication,social participation,and psychological identity).)To carry out,and at the same time,in accordance with the needs of the new generation of migrant workers to integrate into the community,design and plan the service plan for the new generation of migrant workers from the level of environmental behavior adaptation,psychological adaptation,and skill improvement.The study found that the project can achieve good project results through the construction of a community platform and the provision of professional services.However,during the implementation of the project,the poor stability of the new generation of migrant workers challenged the continuity of the project.The new generation of migrant workers experienced internal divisions,and the new generation of migrant workers who really needed their livelihoods were unable to participate in service activities,which made the project targeted.Biased.In addition,due to insufficient community resources and limited integration capabilities,different groups only care about their own interests,and disputes between residents are conducive to making adjustments to interests more difficult.For this reason,it is recommended that social workers should,based on the characteristics of the new generation of migrant workers,carry out a service plan that combines regular service activities and professional service activities,implement targeted services,strengthen platform construction,actively link resources,and think about multiple channels.Ways to solve the problem of unbalanced distribution of benefits among community groups.
