In recent years,with the exposure of many academic misconduct incidents,preventing and controlling academic misconducts and purifying academic atmosphere have become an important problem faced by universities in China.Academic misconduct is a violation of academic integrity,which seriously damages the rigor of academic practice and hinders the normal development of academic practice.Preventing and controlling academic misconduct is of great significance to maintaining academic dignity and building a clean academic environment.According to the theory of social control,the study of the game mechanism between different control means and academic misconduct of university teachers can provide useful reference for the governance of academic misconduct.Firstly,based on social control theory,the paper studies the game mechanism of academic misconduct.Social control theory shows that people's behavior is restricted and regulated by certain social control means,and social control means can be divided into strong control means and weak control means according to the different degree of control constraint.This research adopts the theory of social control theory model,combined with the existing research misconduct,choose the perfect laws and institutions,the earnest supervision and punishment,as the representative of the strong control means choose continuous academic integrity education,the correct values,as the representative of the weak control means game mechanism of game model analysis: The perfect law and system will have a negative effect on the academic misconduct of university teachers.Serious supervision and punishment will have a negative effect on the academic misconduct of university teachers.The continuous education of academic integrity will have a negative effect on the academic misconduct of college teachers.Correct academic values will have a negative effect on the academic misconduct of college teachers.Secondly,based on the analysis of college teachers under the theory of social control,on the basis of the game mechanism of academic misconduct,put forward the hypothesis of this article,and the empirical research method,questionnaire survey was conducted by the school teachers in colleges and universities as the research object,using SPSS22.0 correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis,analysis of the collected 227 valid questionnaires.The empirical study shows that perfect laws and systems,careful supervision and punishment,continuous academic integrity education and correct academic values are negatively correlated with academic misconduct.In the regression model,correct academic values have the most significant influence in the model,and careful supervision and punishment have a negative impact on academic misconduct.Finally,countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to deal with the academic misconduct of university teachers: Strengthen the top-level design,improve the legal and institutional norms;Ensuring enforcement and strengthening supervision and punishment;Deepen the education of academic integrity and cultivate good academic quality;Uphold correct academic values and improve academic research ability.
