The term "chunk" originally originated from cognitive memory and was later used by linguists in language research.The typical features of language chunks are "prefabrication" and "storage and extraction".These typical features make it achieve amazing results in second language teaching.In recent years,the teaching of Chinese as a second language has gradually broken through vocabulary learning and explored teaching methods that are more suitable for realistic communication,which shows the advantages of language block teaching.However,the current domestic research on Chinese language chunks is not enough,there is no research and development of relevant textbooks,and it has not been incorporated into the teaching system.Through the author's own teaching experience in Thailand,it is found that the chunk teaching method is very practical when novice teachers teach for beginner Chinese learners.Therefore,based on the existing theory of chunks,combined with the current research results of scholars at home and abroad,the author discusses the views on the definition and classification of Chinese chunks,and defines the criteria for chunk selection based on teaching practice.Then we conducted a survey on the application status of Chinese language block teaching in Thailand,and selected ten Chinese teachers who went to Thailand and local Chinese teachers in Thailand to conduct interviews.The purpose is to understand whether Chinese teachers have block awareness and the theory of block language.Degree of understanding and application.At the same time,the author adopts the experimental analysis method,based on the real teaching experience in the overseas environment,and uses "Happy Chinese"(Volume1)as the experimental textbook.Data analysis of the mid-term and final test scores of each class will help them establish a sense of learning chunks.Finally,according to the experimental conclusions,some teaching suggestions are provided for Chinese teachers from various angles,hoping to have some reference for future teaching practice.
