The international community’s demand for talents is gradually moving towards practical and innovative talents.The middle school stage is the most favorable period for cultivating students’ innovative consciousness and innovative thinking.Learning the history of chemistry can enable students to have a deep understanding of the development of chemistry and the ideas contained in the development process.An important way for students’ scientific innovation ability.This research aims to explore teaching strategies that can use chemical history teaching to develop students’ innovative thinking,and ultimately promote the development of students’ scientific literacy.The core question of the research is: How to use the history of chemistry to develop students’ innovative thinking?It is further broken down into the following two key questions:(1)How to design teaching examples that use the history of chemistry to develop students’ innovative thinking?(2)What is the effect of using the history of chemistry to develop students’ innovative thinking teaching on the development of students’ innovative thinking?This research is based on the theory of ternary intelligence and the theory of three-dimensional structure of intelligence.It mainly adopts the action research method and is carried out in accordance with the basic steps of action research.The whole research is divided into two rounds: the first round belongs to the trial and exploratory stage,and the focus is on getting students.Recognize the important role of innovative thinking in learning and research;the second round is an adjustment and improvement stage,mainly to enhance students’ participation in the study of chemistry history,through in-depth thinking and experience,internalizing innovative methods,and developing innovative thinking.Collect data through various methods such as student interviews and questionnaire surveys,analyze and compare,and summarize.The research results show that the use of chemistry history to develop innovative thinking teaching students’ questioning spirit,generalization ability,expression ability,and flexibility in chemistry learning have been significantly enhanced.The research results show that the use of chemistry history to develop innovative thinking teaching students’ questioning spirit,generalization ability,expression ability,and flexibility in chemistry learning have been significantly enhanced.Based on the theory of ternary intelligence and the theory of three-dimensional structure of intelligence,this research carried out an action research on using the history of chemistry to develop students’ innovative thinking teaching.Through standardizing and rigorous research process,the research results are objectively analyzed and summarized.The research conclusions are as follows: the use of chemistry history teaching is an effective teaching method to develop students’ innovative thinking.Using chemistry history materials as the carrier,the use of inquiry teaching,IHV teaching and other methods for students to create inquiry situations to develop students’ innovative thinking;study groups are using.The history of chemistry plays an important role in the development of students’ innovative thinking teaching.Study groups can create an equal and free learning environment for students,and promote the development of students’ innovative thinking through group activities;applying effective teaching strategies is the key to developing students’ innovative thinking.
