Research On The Improvement Of Academic Ability Of Postgraduates In Ideological And Political Education Discipline

Postgraduates in the discipline of ideological and political education(hereinafter referred to as master students in the discipline of ideological and political education)are future professionals engaged in theoretical research,education and teaching,publicity and practical work of the Party and government departments related to this discipline.Therefore,to ensure the quality of the cultivation of postgraduates in ideological and political education discipline is the key to implementing Xi Jinping's important instructions on postgraduate education and effectively solving the fundamental problem of “what to cultivate,who to cultivate and how to cultivate people”.Improving the academic ability of postgraduates is an important part of improving the quality of personnel training in ideological and political education discipline.This paper attempts to use the method of practical investigation from the perspective of students to think about the basic connotation master's academic ability,present situation and promotion strategy.The first chapter of this paper mainly summarizes the academic research on the academic ability of postgraduates,and further briefly discusses the concept and composition of the academic ability of postgraduates majoring in ideological and political education discipline.It is believed that the academic ability of postgraduates majoring in ideological and political education discipline includes the acquisition ability of basic theoretical knowledge,the expansion ability of subject knowledge territory,and the practical application ability of subject theoretical knowledge.The second chapter through the collation and analysis of questionnaire data,understand and grasp the current ideological and political education subject master' s academic ability present situation and existing problems.The third chapter analyzes the reasons for the insufficient academic ability of the current master students of ideological and political science from the perspectives of training units,instructors and students themselves.The fourth chapter combined with theoretical analysis and practical investigation from the ideological and political education discipline master's basic theory knowledge acquisition ability,discipline knowledge territory expansion ability,discipline theory knowledge practice ability three aspects,from the training unit,teachers,students themselves three levels,put forward feasible countermeasures.In this study,the subject of ideological and political science is placed in the overall system of humanities and social sciences.On this basis,the uniqueness of the subject of ideological and political science is sought.Starting from the uniqueness of the subject,it is summarized that the academic ability of the postgraduates is composed of the acquisition ability of the basic theoretical knowledge of the subject,the expansion ability of the subject knowledge territory and the practical ability of the subject theoretical knowledge.At the same time,through the investigation of postgraduates in ideological and political education science,the current situation of academic ability of postgraduates in ideological and political education science is obtained.It also puts forward the “three aspects” strategy to improve the academic ability of postgraduates in ideological and political education science,which provides valuable reference for the cultivation and improvement of academic ability of postgraduates in ideological and political education science,and has certain significance for promoting the construction of Marxist theory discipline.
