School bullying is one of the most interesting issues in school education,and it is also a common topic in news reports.Restricted by the traditional educational model,physical bullying is the easiest to be found in school bullying,this is also the most frequent type of bullying in many school bullying studies.In contrast,verbal bullying,social bullying and cyberbullying are often invisible.In this paper,the students of grade one of G Middle School in D city of Gansu Province are taken as the research object,and the data are collected from the teachers,parents and students of g middle school through the methods of questionnaire survey,interview and participant observation,to explore the cognition of teachers,students and parents on the concept of school bullying,the current situation of school bullying prevention education for junior high school students,and the needs of junior high school students for the prevention of school bullying,on this basis,the paper analyzes the necessity and feasibility of social work intervention on the prevention of school bullying for junior high school students.Based on cognitive behavior theory,rational emotion theory and interpersonal need theory,this paper uses group work method to carry out practical intervention,and evaluates the effect of group work through process assessment and result assessment.The findings are as follows: First,junior high school students in g school do not have a comprehensive understanding of the concepts related to campus bullying,and there is bullying behavior on campus.The form of bullying prevention education of school teachers is single,and the family is absent in the school bullying prevention education of junior high school students.Second,G middle school students' need for school bullying prevention education is to fully understand the related concepts of school bullying,learn the different types and harms of school bullying,identify the bullying behaviors in school,and reduce their own bullying behaviors,to enhance the ability to deal with bullying on campus,in the face of bullying behavior is no longer a bystander.Third,it is necessary and feasible for social work to intervene in the school bullying prevention education of junior middle school students,which has been affirmed and supported by parents,teachers and students.Fourth,the intervention of group work to prevent school bullying education of junior high school students has advantages and positive results.Through the analysis of the intervention effect through the pre-test and post-test of the scale,the activity interview and the self-evaluation of the group members,it shows that the effect of this group activity is good,and it meets the needs of the junior middle school students for the prevention of school bullying education,it is helpful to reduce the bullying behavior,strengthen the action consciousness of the junior high school students when they face the bullying behavior,and promote the healthy growth of the junior high school students.
