Reading is an important way for human beings to obtain information.With the digitization and mathematization of society,mathematical reading ability has become a key ability for people to know,understand and explore the world.As an important indicator to test the educational system of various countries and the competitiveness of talents in the future,PISA is scientific and authoritative in evaluating the core qualities of students.Therefore,this study based on PISA to explore the sixth grade students' mathematical reading ability in line with the trend of modern education development,has great research value.By searching the relevant literature,this study grasps the research status and future research trend of mathematics reading,draws lessons from the dimensions of Pisa mathematics literacy and Pisa reading literacy test paper and questionnaire,uses questionnaire method and test method to collect data,and then uses spss23.0 to make descriptive,difference and correlation statistical analysis on the data,so as to understand the current situation of mathematics reading of sixth grade students Status and ability level.Finally,based on the above research results,this paper puts forward strategies to improve mathematics reading ability.Through the study of 200 sixth grade students in F primary school in Suzhou,it is found that the sixth grade students' mathematics reading ability is only at the "qualified" level,and the factors influencing the sixth grade students' mathematics reading ability are as follows:(1)Student level: Participation-the contradiction between rationality and sensibility;competence-the gap between ideal and reality;reading thinking-the contradiction between positive and negative Reading strategy: the gap between single and multiple.(2)Family level: family material capital-the lack of mathematics reading environment;family cultural capital-the lack of parents' participation.(3)School level: Teachers' factor-the deviation of mathematics reading guidance;school factor-the weakness of mathematics reading atmosphere.(4)Material level: the situation of mathematics reading is single;the content of mathematics reading is unbalanced;the problem of mathematics reading is indirect.According to the influencing factors of sixth grade students' mathematics reading ability,this study puts forward the following strategies:(1)based on the perspective of students:enrich the positive emotional experience in mathematics reading;improve the self cognitive ability in mathematics reading;cultivate the reading thinking in mathematics reading.(2)Based on the family perspective: increase the investment of family education materials;increase the investment of family cultural capital.(3)Based on the perspective of teachers:enhance students' perception of rich mathematics reading situation;guide students to experience the process of real problem situation "mathematization";balance students' gap in mathematics reading content.(4)Based on the reading process: about the mathematical expression;about the use of mathematical methods;about the interpretation of mathematical results.
