Reading and writing are two indispensable parts of Chinese teaching.“ who gets the composition,who wins the world” has always been a traditionally recognized view.As far as reading and writing,it is impracticable if we talk about them seperately.It is thus clear that the influence of reading and writing is mutual.The combination of reading and writing is not a new term in Chinese teaching,but there are still many educators who are still actively exploring in teaching practice.Ding Youkuan has been on the front line of teaching career for many years from villages to towns,and what has changed is the work places,what has not changed is his love for Chinese teaching.Ding Youkuan has carried out two teaching reforms in his teaching practice.These two teaching reforms gave him a new understanding of the combination of reading and writing,and gradually formed his own teaching theory.This article mainly adopts the method of literature research,interview,comparative analysis and case analysis,and based on the research of Ding Youkuan's "Combination of Reading and Writing".The thesis is divided into four parts from theory and practice.The first part is the introduction.It is mainly based on the specific research background and reasons to determine the topic of the thesis,and conduct research with scientific research methods,and finally analyze the significance of this topic.The second part is the first chapter of the thesis.The author gives an overview of Ding Youkuan's "Combination of Reading and Writing" and mainly discusses the formation stage of his theory,basis,components of the teaching system and some teaching experience.In general,it is a summary of Ding Youkuan's "Combination of Reading and Writing".The third part is through the research of Ding Youkuan's "combination of reading and writing" in the first chapter to find the breakthrough and recurrence between his teaching philosophy and the current Chinese teaching,whether it is the characteristics of Chinese education or the multiple abilities of students cultivation,these are the positive meanings of his teaching theory.Furthermore,the author analyzes this part and draws a conclusion.On this basis,comparing the teaching process of Ding Youkuan in the text,further analyzing the significance of his "combination of reading and writing" teaching theory.The fourth part is the enlightenment of Ding Youkuan's teaching theory for some teachers now,mainly starting from the text and teaching,combined with some enlightenment of "combination of reading and writing" on Chinese teaching.In short,through the study of Ding Youkuan's teaching theory,the author found that theoretical support can be found no matter from psychology or education.Judging from the current Chinese education,the combination of reading and writing has also played a positive role.
