Since the 1990 s,many countries and regions in the world have continuously carried out new curriculum system reform,in which the cultivation of students’ core competencies and values is particularly emphasized.The concept of "core competencies and values system" was formally proposed in the Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening Curriculum Reform and Implementing the Fundamental Task of Cultivating People through Moral Education issued by the Ministry of Education of China on March 30,2014.However,the cultivation of core competencies and values should be implemented in specific discipline education in the end."Mathematics Curriculum Standards for General Senior High School(2017 Edition)" officially released the concept of mathematics discipline core competencies and values and six core competencies and values.Among them,mathematical abstract accomplishment is the first of the six core accomplishment of mathematics,and also the foundation of the core accomplishment of mathematics,so it is particularly meaningful to investigate the status quo of the level of mathematical abstract literacy of senior high school students.This research focuses on mathematical abstraction,which is an important core accomplishment.Firstly,it constructs an evaluation framework of mathematical abstraction accomplishment level,with two dimensions: one is four secondary indicators,namely concept dissection,language expression,method universality,and conjecture generalization;The second is the three-level division of each index;The test paper of mathematical abstract literacy was compiled to investigate the status quo of mathematical abstract literacy level of Grade Two students in Shanghai ×× Middle School,to understand the overall level of mathematical abstract literacy,the specific performance level of each secondary index of mathematical abstract core literacy,and the gender difference of mathematical abstract literacy level of male and female students.Finally,according to the data analysis and interview results,feasible teaching suggestions and teaching design are put forward in the hope of providing some reference for the improvement and cultivation of high school students’ mathematical abstract literacy level.In this research,Excel and SPSS25.0 software were used to sort out and analyze the collected data,and the main conclusions of the current situation of the high school students’ mathematical abstract literacy level were summarized as follows:(1)The overall level of abstract core accomplishment of high school students is average;(2)Conceptual disjunction and conjecture generalization performed best.The level of conjecture generalization was slightly higher than the level of concept disjunction,but the level of language expression and method universality was weak,especially the universality of method.(3)Male students are slightly higher than female students in all aspects of the second-level indicators of mathematical abstract literacy,but the gap between them is not very big.According to the problems existing in the above analysis,the following training suggestions for specific secondary indicators are put forward:(1)Guide students to grasp the essence of things and experience a complete process of perception and abstraction;(2)Dynamic display of the changing rules of quantity and the special attributes of graphics,and then analogy and induction,and then abstract more general rules and properties;(3)Enrich students’ knowledge reserve of mathematical concepts,theorems,formulas and rules,and improve students’ perception of the value of mathematical symbols and their awareness of using mathematical symbols;(4)Train students to find multiple solutions to practical problems,optimize mathematical models and seek the best solutions.After putting forward some suggestions,three teaching sections are designed: geometrical general form,root and function zero,binomial theorem,to explain how to carry out the cultivation of mathematical abstract accomplishment by carrying out the cultivation of secondary indexes in classroom teaching.
