Theme reading teaching is a new mode of Chinese teaching.The teaching of theme reading has changed the previous cramming education of teachers,adopting the form of in class and extra-curricular,based on the Chinese teaching materials and closely linked to the expanded courses of Chinese teaching materials.It can stimulate students' interest in Chinese reading and cultivate their awareness of autonomous cooperative research.Make students have a certain sense of gain in the process of learning.At the same time,the teaching of thematic reading also has a certain challenge to teachers' teaching ability.Teachers should form a new understanding of the teaching of thematic reading.According to the new curriculum standard,reading is a kind of personalized behavior for students,that is to say,teachers can not replace students to read and think.Only when students actively participate in reading,can they have a deeper understanding and perception of the reading text,broaden their horizons,enrich their knowledge and broaden their horizons.It is very important and precious for students to have a unique feeling of reading.Therefore,we should actively guide students' reading habits and ideas in teaching activities.The role of reading teaching in junior high school Chinese teaching is obvious.The new curriculum standard has higher requirements for the goal and level of reading.Thematic reading can meet the requirements of Chinese teaching in the new curriculum standard.The reading teaching method around the theme will produce good emotional experience in the interaction of theme reading,which is also one of the core requirements of junior high school Chinese teaching in the current period ?Based on this,this paper takes a middle school in Hebei as the research object,discusses the current situation of Theme Reading Teaching in this school,collects data by questionnaire survey,analyzes the status quo,summarizes the problems,and analyzes the causes of the problems,and provides targeted improvement countermeasures on this basis.Through the analysis of the current situation,it is found that the main problems in the theme teaching of the school are single teaching form,blind content selection,unreasonable learning time arrangement and insufficient teaching effect.The main reasons for the above problems lie in the lack of innovative ability of teachers,the lack of guidance to students,the lack of attention paid by school teachers and other subjects to the theme reading,and the imperfect evaluation and feedback mechanism.In order to improve the above problems,the school should focus on the innovation of the teaching form of theme reading,enrich the teaching form,reasonably use the scientific and technological means,improve the teachers' ability,standardize the management system of the theme reading course,improve the teachers' self-management ability,strictly enforce the classroom discipline and student management,clarify the teacher's reward system,and enhance the importance of the theme reading teaching It includes improving the school's attention,making reasonable teaching plan and timely teaching reflection.
