Since the implementation of the mathematics curriculum standards for compulsory education,the education community has paid great attention to the systematic and balanced mathematics curriculum,and the importance of the linkage of mathematics teaching between primary and secondary schools has also increased.At the same time,as far as the actual situation of compulsory education in our country is concerned,many students are faced with the problems of anxiety and performance decline after entering the junior high school stage.In order to prepare students for knowledge,skills,thinking and other aspects,they can adapt to junior high school as soon as possible.It is necessary to unite the power of primary and secondary school teachers to actively promote the connection of mathematics teaching between primary and secondary schools and provide guarantee for the smooth transition of students from elementary school to junior high school.This article takes 600 junior one(sixth grade)students from X Middle School in Tai’an City,Shandong Province as the research object.First,conduct a questionnaire survey on the students from four aspects: students’ learning habits,students’ learning methods,students’ learning interests,and students’ main difficulties in learning mathematics.Dimensional study of students’ learning;then interviews with teachers to learn about teachers’ understanding of curriculum standards,familiarity with textbooks,and knowledge of primary and secondary schools,and understanding of primary and secondary school teachers’ common learning knowledge points "negative numbers",The level of understanding of the four parts of the teaching content of "Expressing Numbers with Letters","Equations" and "Triangles",ask the teachers of primary and secondary schools for advice on the connection of teaching between primary and secondary schools.Through the analysis of questionnaires to students and interview records with teachers,we have a comprehensive understanding of the problems existing in the connection of mathematics teaching between primary and secondary schools,and analyzed the causes of the above problems from the two dimensions of teachers and students.Finally,based on teacher teaching and student learning From the angle of view,it provides corresponding countermeasures and suggestions on how to do a good job of connecting mathematics teaching in primary and secondary schools.Encourage teachers to pay attention to the cultivation of students’ learning habits,learning methods and learning interests,and make adjustments in three aspects of teaching content,teaching methods and teaching ideas,to comprehensively improve the level of connection between primary and secondary school mathematics,and to ensure the quality and efficiency of mathematics education in my country’s primary and secondary schools.
