Reading ability is extremely valuable for people to adapt to modern society,to cultivate civil literacy,to promote building the socialist society,as well as for personal lifelong learning.The college entrance examination is a selective test where reading ability has always been the main assessment content for the subject Chinese.Since the implementation of the revised college entrance examination,many changes have taken place in the Chinese examination papers.To cope with the changes in both Chinese reading teaching and the examination,active reading is an important strategy.Therefore,it is important and practical to conduct the theoretical research and practical exploration of active reading teaching of high school Chinese.This paper studies the active reading teaching of high school Chinese in the context of the revised college entrance examination.The main research object is active reading teaching,specifically the active reading teaching of modern Chinese texts in high school Chinese textbooks and revised college entrance examination exam papers.The first chapter is the introduction,and its main content includes reason for this research,concept definition,research summary,research significance,and research methods,etc.The second chapter discusses the connotation,characteristics and value of active reading.The connotation of active reading is gradually clarified in comparison with passive reading.Active reading has its own characteristics which includes respects to students' reading interest,and uses reading strategies and methodologies,to cultivates students' higher-order critique thinking.The third chapter is about the teaching strategies and implementation of active reading in high school Chinese.The main content of this chapter is the current problems in the teaching of high school Chinese reading,the teaching goals of active reading in high school Chinese,and the teaching strategies to cultivate active reading ability.In addition,curriculum and classroom teaching cases were presented.The fourth chapter illustrates the examination requirements and characteristics of the revised college entrance examination contemporary essay reading,the advantages of active reading to handle the test,and provides an explanation in the improvement strategy of the active reading.The fifth chapter is the discussion and future direction where mainly replenishes and emphasizes several aspects and understandings on active reading teaching and the active reading ability improvements for the revised test.The conclusion summarizes the active reading teaching under the background of the revised college entrance examination.It draws the conclusion that only sufficient practice of those reading strategies can enhance and advance the reading ability.Thus,the improvement of reading ability is inseparable from persistent study and continuous reading training.
