An Empirical Study On The Subjective Well-Being Of Migrant Workers In Manufacturing Industry From The Perspective Of Social Capital

So far,domestic scholars have conducted in-depth studies on the subjective well-being of migrant workers and its influencing factors.However,the current situation of subjective wellbeing of migrant workers in manufacturing industry from the perspective of social capital and the corresponding improvement measures are still a research subject that has not been fully defined.This paper takes the manufacturing migrant workers in Jiaxing city as the research object,and based on the data from the questionnaire data and interview resuts,analyzes the influence of the social capital(social organization participation,relationship network,interpersonal trust)on subjective well-being.The results are as follows:First,the subjective wellbeing of migrant workers in manufacturing industry is not high now;Second,the participation of recreational clubs has a positive impact on the subjective well-being of them;Third,the number of relatives,colleagues,fellow villagers and friends in the relationship network can significantly improve the subjective well-being of migrant workers;Fourth,intimate relationship trust and work relationship trust in interpersonal trust can improve the subjective well-being of migrant workers.According to the research findings,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from five aspects: first,to protect the reasonable wage rights and interests of migrant workers in the manufacturing industry,and to strengthen the vocational training for migrant workers in the manufacturing industry;Second,change concept,reduce discrimination,and create a good interpersonal environment;Third,improve social trust and interpersonal trust level of migrant workers in manufacturing industry;Fourth,pay attention to the spiritual and cultural needs of migrant workers in the manufacturing industry,strengthen the construction of recreational clubs;Fifth,we will advance the reform of the household registration system and accelerate the process of making migrant workers in the manufacturing industry citizens.
