In the new era of rapid development of knowledge economy,teachers are facing more and more challenges and requirements.As the leader and guide of students,the teachers’ views on students are very important for their professional accomplishment and students’ development.Whether the views on students held by teachers is up to date and whether they meet the requirements of the new curriculum reform have become an important topic in the current research.But few empirical studies have been made to explore the true situation of the views on students held by the first-line teachers.Therefore,this study takes the teacher’s narration as the starting point,constructs the quantitative analysis of the views on students tool under the support of the relevant theories,and discusses the current characteristics and the forming factors of the views on students held by the first-line teachers.In the introduction,the paper explains the reason and significance of the research,systematically combs the related research of " narration"," teacher narration" and"views on students",and defines the three core concepts.The first two parts of the text introduce the construction of the analysis tool,the overall design and implementation process of the research.Among them,the analysis tools of views on students include four dimensions:"essential attribute,"teacher-student relationship","individual difference"and "development potential".Then,the author uses the views on students analysis tool to analyze the whole and differences of 20 narration texts of teachers,and summarizes the characteristics of primary school teachers’ views on students.Combined with the interview results,the fourth part sorts out the influencing factors of the formation of primary school teachers’ views on students.The fifth part summarizes the conclusion and puts forward corresponding improvement suggestions for the main factors in the fourth part.The results show that:(1)more than 70%of teachers are in the "essential attribute"dimension,which considers students as "life body";students should be the center in dealing with "teacher-student relationship";in the dimension of "individual differences",students are supported to be pluralistic;in terms of students’ development potential,students are considered as the people in the development process.(2)There are no significant differences in the views on students’ in terms of teachers’ gender,education background,teaching age,subject and academic segment,but there are obvious differences in the gender of teachers in the dimension of "teacher-student relationship"(both teachers and students).(3)The main factors of teachers’ life course and experience have different influence on their views of students’,such as the long-term communication process between teachers and students,teacher training,school running concept,teaching research members,teachers’personal character;the secondary factors are:parents and their family atmosphere,and teachers becoming parents.In addition,books,social times and cultural atmosphere will also have some impacts.Based on the above conclusions,this study puts forward some suggestions to help primary school teachers improve their views on students from three aspects:teachers’ individual,school and education management department to realize their own professional development.
