The rise of artificial intelligence education makes the cultivation of global computing thinking ability change from "aging" and"single subject" to "low age" and"interdisciplinary".Because the cultivation of students' computational thinking ability mainly depends on the social and school education system,and the social and school education system have the characteristics of complexity and variability,so the influencing factors of students' computational thinking ability are also diversified.Although there are some researches on the influencing factors of computational thinking ability,the research object is too broad and mostly concentrated in middle and high grades.This study focuses on the research on the influencing factors of the students'computational thinking ability in primary school.The purpose is to deepen the understanding of the theory of computational thinking,so as to improve the efficiency of the students' ability of computational thinking.Based on the above research purposes,the main research questions of this study are:(1)What is the level of computational Thinking ability of senior primary school students;(2)What are the factors that affect the computational thinking ability of senior primary school students;(3)How to improve the computational thinking ability of senior primary school students?This study used literature research method,questionnaire survey method and other research methods to investigate 331 senior students in a primary school in Wuhan.Through the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the recovered data,the relevant assumptions of the influencing factors of computing thinking are constructed and verified.The results show that the students' computational thinking ability(M=4.14,SD=0.49)is higher,and the students have some computing thinking ability.The factors influencing the ability of computational thinking of senior students in primary school are grade,operation ability,information technology attitude,mathematics achievement,support of family maker and thinking style.Among them,students' operational ability,information technology attitude,mathematics achievement,family maker support and thinking style have significant positive effects on their computational thinking ability.The grade of students has a significant negative impact on their computational thinking ability.The level of parents' education and the school maker education have no significant influence on their computational thinking ability.Therefore,based on the results of SWOT analysis,this paper puts forward the corresponding strategies to improve the computational thinking ability from three aspects of students,families and schools.As for students,they need to improve their operation ability,mathematics achievement and information technology attitude and thinking style;In the aspect of students' families,it is necessary to promote the support and participation of their families in the cultivation of computational thinking;In the aspect of students'school,we need to strengthen the cultivation of students' computational thinking ability in all aspects of the school.Finally,it is necessary to strengthen the cultivation of all elements of Computational Thinking of senior primary school students,including creativity,algorithmic thinking,critical thinking,cooperative thinking,communication skills and problem-solving ability.
