Primary school is an important period for children's rapid development.Primary school students are curious about everything in the outside world and have strong learning initiative and enthusiasm for new things and new knowledge.Therefore,primary school is an important period for laying students' learning interest,especially for learning mathematics knowledge.In primary school mathematics teaching,the introduction of mathematics games,can greatly arouse students' interest in learning mathematics,so as to stimulate their motivation to learn mathematics,but also can cultivate their spirit of inquiry and cooperation ability.In the textbook Mathematics for Primary Schools published by Beijing Normal University Press,there is a section of"Fun with Mathematics" in each semester,which fully attaches importance to stimulating students' interest in mathematics learning,broadening students' horizons,and gradually cultivating students' ability to comprehensively apply the knowledge they have learned,analyze and solve practical problems.In my own teaching practice,in line with the teaching concept of "student-oriented",aiming at the specific cases in the primary school mathematics textbooks of Beijing Normal University,the author introduced mathematical games in three teaching links respectively before class,during class and after class,and studied the role of the introduction of mathematical games in primary school mathematics teaching.Its function is very significant in "classroom introduction","exploring new knowledge" and"consolidating and deepening".Mathematical games can be divided into two categories in exploring new knowledge:games as the theme of learning and games as the penetrating part of knowledge.Through the students actively participate in the math games,first of all,stimulate the students' interest in math learning,play their subjective initiative.Secondly,by observing the characteristics or movement of graphs,students can develop their spatial imagination ability,and also help students understand the combination of numbers and shapes,and increase their strategic thinking.Third,in the practical operation to improve the students observation,analysis,comparison,reasoning and other abilities,not only exercise their hands-on ability,but also exercise their mathematical thinking ability.Fourth,students in the mathematics game constantly discover,constantly thinking,absorb new knowledge,stimulate the spirit of exploring mathematics,not only cultivate their innovation ability,but also cultivate their excellent quality of healthy competition and unity and cooperation,promote the all-round development of students.Fifth,feel different mathematical culture in mathematical games,permeate different mathematical ideas,and lay a certain foundation for further development.After the investigation and analysis of students' questionnaires and the sorting and reflection of teachers' interviews,it is concluded that the application of games in primary school mathematics teaching can play a very positive role for both students and teachers,and that games have a good effect in primary school mathematics.It is hoped that it can provide some reference for primary school mathematics teachers and provide research materials for other scholars.
