With the reform of new curriculum and the implementation of learning task groups and thematic teaching,teachers are in the face of both opportunities and challenges in the area of curriculum development.In this new round of curriculum reform,the 'Iearning task group' learning model places greater emphasis on the diversity of student learning content and the relevance of in-depth student enquiry.As a complement to the national curriculum,school-based programmes are attracting a great deal of attention in the new curriculum reform because of their diversity of content and relevance to students'learning needs and interests.As a result,the development of a dynamic school-based curriculum that is close to students' lives and mobilises the rich cultural and literary resources has become a major trend in the development of school-based Chinese curricula.In response to this need for school-based curriculum development,there is a great deal of value in developing a school-based curriculum that incorporates the characteristics of regional life in the context of culture and literature.From the perspective of the uniqueness of the Guanzhong region,there is a unique dialectal culture,numerous texts that last for generations,and a heritage of history and spirituality.From the perspective of dialect culture,there are many cultural forms based on the Guanzhong dialect,such as operas,proverbs and folk songs.From the perspective of literary development,during the Qin and Han dynasties,the Guanzhong region produced 911 essays,31 poems and 64 Fu;during the Tang dynasty,the poetry based on Guanzhong culture was represented by the Chang'an poets Du Mu and Wei Yingwu,and the number of poets was uncountable;during the Song dynasty,the Guanzhong region produced the momentous Confucian thought "Guanxue",and the thought of "Guanxue"was taken as the basis for the Song dynasty.In contemporary times,the writings of Chen Zhongshi,Liu Qing,Gao Jianqun and Feng Jiqi,the so-called "Shaanxi army writers",have had a significant impact on the development of modern Chinese literature.In terms of cultural heritage,there are 138 museums in the Guanzhong region,including 22 national museums,and countless historical buildings.In terms of intangible cultural heritage,there are more than twenty national intangible cultural heritage sites in Guanzhong published in the Shaanxi Intangible Cultural Heritage Database.This makes it necessary and feasible to develop a school-based curriculum that focuses on Guanzhong culture and literature.This paper discusses the conditions for the development and construction of the curriculum,and the enhancement of theory in order to realise the rational development of a school-based curriculum on Guanzhong culture and literature.In the course of the discussion,the necessity and practicability of curriculum development is demonstrated through scientific research and analysis;the process of curriculum development and the presentation of lesson examples present the way in which the Guanzhong culture and literature school-based curriculum is constructed;and finally,the development experience is theorised in order to provide a methodological reference for more developers of regional culture and literature courses.Overall,this study is based on the needs of teaching and learning,with the Guanzhong region as the core,and attempts to explore the curricular and nurturing values of regional culture and literature,and to develop excellent regional culture and literature into a school-based curriculum,in order to provide the most basic theoretical and practical reference for my own and more developers of regional culture and literature curricula in the future.
