The homework system,text system and image system together constitute the three systems of geography teaching materials.They are an important part of geography teaching materials.They are the main contents that guides students to convey geography teaching information through independent thinking,cooperative inquiry,and practical activities.The homework system plays an important role in consolidating and enriching students' geographic knowledge,testing students' learning effects,enabling students to form a scientific spirit of independent inquiry and cultivating geographic core literacy.At the present stage,most of the geography homework of high school students is mainly based on extracurricular exercises,little attention is paid to the homework system(one of the three major systems of geography textbooks).As a result,teachers have not really used the textbook homework to train students in actual teaching.The high-level learning value of the homework system is ignored.This research is based on the general high school geography textbook of People's Education Press published in 2019(hereinafter referred to as the People's Education Edition)Volume One and Shandong Education Publishing House's General High School Geography Textbook(hereinafter referred to as Lujiao Edition)Volume One For the research object.Using the literature research method to consult a large number of relevant materials and determine the theoretical basis for the research.Analyzing the knowledge structure and chapter structure of the two editions of the textbook with reference to the high school geography curriculum standards.Using qualitative and quantitative analysis to study the constituent elements,and operating system difficulty(number of tasks,background level,depth level,knowledge content,response method)of each homework section in the two editions of the textbook.Each study is combined with textbook examples to compare and explain.This article also uses the questionnaire survey method to design a teacher questionnaire and a student questionnaire separately,taking teachers and students from multiple schools in Binzhou,Linyi,Dongying and Zibo as the survey objects.Through the data analysis of the questionnaire results,understand the current situation of the use of the textbook homework system in actual teaching,listen to the evaluation and expectations of frontline teachers and students on the textbook homework system,thus providing a factual basis for this research.Combining the results of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,as well as the results of teacher-student questionnaires,this article proposes optimization suggestions from two aspects of textbook compilation and teacher teaching,such as: setting chapter exercises;appropriately increasing the amount of homework;creating problem situations;controlling the difficulty of homework;setting references;according to teaching practice,select and use textbook homework questions.This research combines theory with practice,and compares the two versions of the textbook homework system from many aspects.It is hoped that through the comparative analysis of the operating system of the first volume of the two editions of the new textbook Geography,it will provide a reference for the geography educators to interpret and use the new textbook.
